Very early in the design process, my clients expressed their desire for a proper bar. We decided to forego the formal living room drawn on the original architectural plan (borrowing space from the family room next door), and instead opted for this functional bar and lounge space, where the couple can entertain at a moment’s notice. We struck a balance of perfectly light and bright during the daytime (a wonderful coffee/reading spot) and warm and cozy in the evenings, with rich paneling and layers of lighting to set the mood.

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted. We feel so fortunate to have had our busiest year last year and are looking forward to many more beautiful projects that are in the works. Though still a work in progress, our new expanded office space has already been such a blessing. Bella is pictured here in her living room waiting patiently for more furniture to arrive. Though we still have some work to do in this space, I couldn’t resist snapping a photo of this sweet pup. 🤍
