Although Alicia’s House of the Rising Bun has been a staple here in Terre Haute since 2019 starting out as a home based bakery, our mobile bakery officially turns TWO today! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‚

Since opening the mobile bakery we’ve met so many amazing people along the way. We’ve made new friends, built relationships, watched our little business grow, and experienced more support than we could have ever imagined.

We are so incredibly grateful for all of you who have shown us so much love over the last two years. Every order, every pop up, every like, share, and comment, every recommendation, and every person who has pulled up to that trailer means more to us than you know. πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

We’re proud of the name we’ve made for ourselves, proud of how far we’ve come, and so excited for what’s still ahead.

I've gotten in so many arguments over IFRA standards and why they are important, this is one thing I wish all candle people (even the hobbyists ) would take more seriously.

I saw a maker in a group the other day say she was using an oil at 10% in a candle that is only meant to be used at 4% or less πŸ˜‘πŸ™„
Some oils synthetic or essential should only be used at certain percentages depending on the kind of product you're making. Not all oils can be used at a 10% load safely even if your wax will hold a 10% fragrance oil load. Nor does more oil always mean more smell πŸ˜‘ just like you can't use oils with high camphor oil concentrations on homemade skin products like body butters and lotions, because it can cause a chemical burn in large amounts.

Some bottles may have the pictographs on the bottle but majority (in my experience so far 6 years and counting) you would have to pull up the SDS to see this information. All oils synthetic or natural will have hazardous materials listed on the SDS but they are for the individual components that make up the fragrance as a whole.

Some components when alone in high concentration can be hazardous ( cause allergic reactions, breathing hazards, carcinogens, phthalates, etc) but are ok if used in smaller concentrations or when combined with carrier ingredients as long as they are used at the recommended levels for the type of products they are added to ☺️

Just like an Executioner, this deep sultry scent is fascinating and a little dangerous. You'll love its strong scent throw!
Top Notes Orange, Coconut
Middle Notes: Eucalyptus, Clove, Anise
Bottom Notes: Patchouli, Vanilla, Musk

Good Guy: I have 3 of these
You know the type, a scent you just can’t quite put your finger on, like a Good Guy. Masculine with a soft side of patchouli, pine, vanilla & musk. It's pricey, but well worth it!
Top Notes: Lime, Pineapple
Middle Notes: Basil, Cinnamon, Clove
Bottom Notes: Patchouli, Pine, Vanilla, Musk

Phoenix Tears is sold out in wax but available for car freshies

I feel this one is more of a unisex scent. Subtle notes of bourbon over sugary dates and hints of smoke. This one is subtle but your sure to take notice
