Good morning Hive!

We have some updates regarding our March classes.

Surprisingly, this is a good problem to have, but we have been gifted an incredible amount of crafting supplies and we are so grateful to have too much of a good thing! With that said, our space has been taken over by all of our new product.

So, we have made the decision to cancel all classes for March so we can take some time to re-organize our space and make it optimal for future crafting classes.

Some of the scheduled crafts will be rescheduled for future dates, so don’t fret if you had your eye on one. We will keep you updated on when classes will resume and you’ll want to make sure you like and follow our page for a possible craft supply sale 😏

Good afternoon fellow crafters!!
We wanted to take a minute and introduce you to Chalk Couture.

Chances are, you have heard of Chalk Couture, but you have no idea what it is. Well, you have come to the right place. We are going to answer any question you have about Chalk Couture, and especially “What is Chalk Couture”.

Chalk Couture is a concept in decor and crafting that includes removable chalk paste, reusable self-adhesive silkscreen stencils, permanent ink and unique surfaces. Used together, anyone (even the no-so-crafty) can create professional-looking, beautiful home decor and crafts!

How it is done: Apply the self-adhesive silkscreen transfer to a surface. Using a squeegee, apply a small amount of paste (or ink if you want it permanent on fabric or ceramics) onto the transfer. Squeegee off the excess and remove the transfer. The paste will go on wet and dry hard to the touch It is chalk in a paste form!

Now that you have the basics, our new spring line has just released. Please look at the attached pictures and see all of the wonderful spring items that are waiting for you.

The Handmade Hive is BACK and better than ever! After a couple of months of transforming our space, we are thrilled to welcome you to our BRAND NEW, dedicated crafting studio! 🐝

Join us for our Grand Re-Opening on February 2nd from 1-4pm at 4500 N 15th St, Terre Haute (look for the blue shed)! We’re showcasing our beautiful handmade products, offering a sneak peek at upcoming craft classes, and will have some overstocked crafting supplies for sale — including scrapbooking, painting materials, office supplies, and more. 🖌️📚

Good morning, Hive!

Every day we are getting closer to reopening our studio doors. We’ve had a few bumps, but we’re still here and can’t wait to be crafting with you again!

Next up, we’ll be staining the steps, electricity should be hooked up in the next week, plumbing going in now, skirting to be finished this week, all while we continue to load everything in and get organized. 😮‍💨

A lot going on, but our hope is to be back open by Thanksgiving weekend, so be on the lookout for holiday craft classes to be posted soon! 🐝
