Far from the glory days of the tent but after a summer of some plants enjoying the outdoors, some pest treatment, and a deep clean we’re not doing too bad. Hope to get some breeding projects going again over the winter.

Finally got around to propagating this . It’s been growing sideways in the tent for quite some time. I have no doubt I could have gone directly into soil with the roots it currently has but the place I’m putting it my house isn’t that bright so going to let it establish more roots in water first. The top cut is still bigger than my kids!

I like that most of my hybrids are in my parents basement but there’s one very spoiled 1,100 feet up in the air with an incredible view one NYC. Might be the most spoiled plant alive.

Red crystal x portilliea still going strong and pushing out amazing leaves. This specimen retains the red veins extremely well, but the darkness of the emergent leaves fades in time.

2024 resolution, get my plants thriving again! Having 2 kids and work being busy changed my priorities drastically and the plants definitely suffered from it. Everything pretty much still alive just in need of some TLC. Ready to have this tent full and lush in no time!

My spider mite collection is much more impressive than my anthuriums honestly. How they manage to be on every plant in several different locations of growing is hard to do.
