STAFF PICK OF THE WEEK: Hypericum ‘Globo Burgundy’

One plant, so many reasons to love it.

‘Globo Burgundy’ is one of those plants that earns its place in the garden — a beautiful mounding shrub with cheerful yellow flowers followed by rich burgundy berries.

And for our flower lovers, there’s a bonus: both the flowers and those gorgeous berry stems can be cut for arrangements and bouquets.

Growing to roughly 3' × 3', it’s a great choice for borders, mixed beds or even tucked into a cutting garden.

Stop by and take a look ... sometimes the best garden plants are the ones that do more than one job.

Labor Day Weekend at Etten’s Eden

The calendar may still say summer, but those cooler mornings are starting to give us a little taste of what’s ahead.

Labor Day weekend is a great time to wander the nursery, see what’s looking beautiful, and start getting your garden ready for the next season.

Now is the time to prep and refresh your beds for fall planting ... and we have more seasonal plants arriving soon!

For those ready to get growing now, we also have cool-season vegetable seeds and cool-season flower seeds to get your fall garden started.

We’re OPEN Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 10–4 and CLOSED Monday for Labor Day.

Come wander the nursery, visit the koi, talk plants with us, and start dreaming about what comes next in the garden.

Watercolors in the Garden • What a Wonderful Afternoon!

Our first Watercolors in the Garden workshop at Etten’s Eden was such a success!

A very special thank you to Patty Craighill, a talented local fine artist, for sharing her knowledge, encouragement and love of watercolor with our group. Patty’s beautiful work is inspired by flowers, gardens, landscapes and the natural beauty around us.

It was exactly what we hoped these workshops would become ... a relaxed afternoon surrounded by flowers, learning something new, creating, laughing and enjoying time together.

And judging by the response… we will absolutely be doing this one again!

Thank you to Patty and to everyone who joined us for our first watercolor workshop. We loved having you at Etten’s Eden.

Our Insiders got FIRST DIBS!

Etten’s Eden hosted our first early shopping event for Insiders Club members, giving them first pick from our first shipment of fall plants ... along with some fabulous new pottery that just arrived.

And because early-morning plant shopping deserves a treat, our Insiders enjoyed goodies from Little Cobb Bakery while they shopped.

And this is only the beginning of fall at Etten’s Eden...

Mums, pumpkins, more fall accent plants, beautiful new pottery and fall workshops are all coming soon ... with plenty more still to come!
