we blew out a second vanity to clear the walkway, bumped out the shower by an additional 6” to get a second set of shower components along the back wall, & added glass partitions to level up the entire space. what feels more luxe than shower heads for two!

what’s your favorite design detail: the thick soapstone countertop or the dropped shower niche that both hides the shampoo & doubles as a shaving shelf? 🙌🏽

3 Bathroom Trends We Are Currently Obsessed With✨

Design may be subjective, but we think these trends are here to stay in 2023🤍

▪️ Large-scale natural stone slabs or tile on shower walls add instant drama & glamour. Specify a porcelain dupe for the look for less, and always in a polished finish for a little bit of sparkle ✨

▪️ Monochromatic texture, especially in a matte finish or with a hand-molded feel, can be so subtle and sexy. It’s like the little black dress - it’ll never go out of style.

▪️ Traditional metal details in overlooked places like shower door hardware and toilet paper holders. Patinated brass or solid bronze instantly levels up the aesthetic and feels 10/10 under your hands.

What a great event we had this morning!! Women's Council of Entrepreneurs Woodlands Chapter always shows up and leaves me needing more!

We discussed some tough things this morning - the thing no entrepreneur ever hopes for but still sometimes may have to deal with - if it’s ever appropriate to separate yourself from a client, and if so, how to handle it like a BOSS. Grateful for this community of ladies that opens up and gives such great insight always.

We demo’d 2 outdated shelf niches to retrofit 10’, fully integrated wine fridges with custom glass and iron doors, modern linear wine storage, and a wider plane to hang the 65” flat screen 😚🤌🏻 *chefs kiss* plus replaced the formal dining space with a commercial grade entertainment bar!

Spring is comin in hot ppl! 🌿 DIY an entry planter with me on a budget and in under a minute … sort of 😉

If you’ve never had much of a green thumb (guilty!! 🙋🏻‍♀️) then this one is for you. I picked super low maintenance plants that can thrive in partial shade but still provides such gorgeous softness at my all brick entryway. To recreate this look, you only need a couple of things!

▫️an oversized planter
▫️some plants you love
▫️some potting soil
▫️ a small cardboard box

What people think I do (pick out furniture & tile) vs what I actually do (all of the below listed and then some!!)

I get asked so often, “But is hiring a designer really worth it?” and in my humble opinion, you aren’t just hiring someone to pick out the pretty things. You’re paying for:

▫️their knowledge
▫️their efficiency
▫️their skill
▫️and their influence through trade relationships and connections.

Renovations, even small ones, can drag on and on if all details aren’t sorted out from the beginning and managed to a tee. It’s our job to spin all the plates you didn’t even know were in the air! So is it worth it..? HELL YES IT IS 🙌🏼

It’s the classic 80/20 rule. 20% is design, and 80% is all the things it takes to get you there.
