Not every day in the studio is spent covered in paint.

Some days are quieter.

Arranging flowers.
Styling objects on a table.
Pulling books from shelves and slowly turning pages.
Moving things around simply to see what happens.

It may not look like art making, but it is a vital part of my creative process.

These quiet rituals train my eye to notice color, composition, texture, and beauty in unexpected places.
