God is so good, God is so good, God is so good to me. Don't you just love that chorus? As usual, a lot has been going on in our personal lives and in my business. You remember a few weeks ago, i posted that I was closing my business to be available for my husband and family. Well, I've taken down the "Going out of Business" sign. I think sometimes God just wants to know that we are willing to do something before He works things out for us. Yes, I was willing (and still am if necessary) to close but He opened up a way for me to be able to both work and be available as needed. I am in the process of moving my shop to the inside of Mommie's Trading Post located intersection of SR 74 and Trice Cemetery Road. This way I am still available for your decorating needs and am available for my family as needed. If you have not been to Mommie's you have missed out on a blessing. Debra Vaughn has done an outstanding job of putting together a great selection of merchandise for all decorating needs. She has items herself plus merchandise from several vendors, great selections at great prices. I promise you won't be disappointed and when you come one time, I'm sure you will come back. I should have everything moved in the next few days with pictures to follow. We could not have done this without the good Lord and without help from several good friends (don't know what I would do without them). Hope to see you soon at Mommie's Trading Post.

Good morning family and friends. Hope this finds the New Year treating all of you wonderfully. A lot of things have been going on with our family for the last year and praise the Lord He got us through all of it. I said that to say, I feel led to close my shop at the end of February to devote all my time to family and whatever work the Lord has for us to do. We are blessed beyond measure how well Mike is doing after his LVAD surgery and we want to keep him that way. The good part of this is for all my family, friends and faithful customers. I will be having a 'Going Out of Business" sale beginning Feb 2nd through Feb 26th with everything in the shop marked 20% to 50% off. This is really heartbreaking for me in some respects but I know we are doing the right thing. I have had the opportunity to meet and greet some wonderful new friends (and see old friends) and spend time doing what I love to do. I'm not saying that I'm the best at wreath and arrangement designs but I sure have enjoyed trying to help you with your decorating and gift needs. Stop by anytime from 9:30 to 5:00 Tuesday thru Friday in the month of February and take advantage of this sale. We still can make new spring and summer wreaths for you. I ask that you please help me get the word out about this by sharing this post and telling all your friends and family. Y'all are the BEST and I thank each of you for your support.

I am so excited to now be able to offer Horseshoe Art for your shopping pleasure. Mr. Larry King and his granddaughter Macy Bowling from Kings Farm in Covington, Georgia do an amazing job with authentic horseshoes. I had the opportunity last weekend to be a part of a special day for Ben Dean and Rachel Bell. We have known and loved Ben and his family for a lot of years and after just meeting Rachel a few months ago, we feel the same way about her. She is a phenomenal person with such a sweet and caring spirit. Her desire to work with children speaks volumes for her and Ben. Together they are going to accomplish wonderful things. Rachel was such a beautiful bride and the wedding itself was very special. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.

Praise the Lord, the sun is finally shining! Christmas is over, Valentine is here and it's time to redecorate and change things around a little. That's what I've been doing at the shop and I'm sure you have been doing the same at your home. If you need new accessories or perhaps a new wreath, stop by and I will be glad to help you in any way I can. A lot of times, just one new accessory will make a lot of difference. I will be glad to share my 25+ years of decorating experience with you. As an added bonus, for the remainder of the month of February, all pictures will be 20%-50% discount. Great time to up-date and make a change. I look forward to seeing and working with you to make your home all that you want it to be. Together, we will redecorate Thomaston one home and one business at a time. Soooo excited to see what 2015 holds for all of us. Good morning and Merry Christmas from our home to your home. The Lord has really blessed me this Christmas season. I have been busy thanks to Him and my customers. I still don't have our tree up at home, any volunteers, lol. If you have not finished your shopping, I still have time this week to make wreaths for Christmas presents. Also, come visit my Gift Shop area for those last minute gifts. Good morning! Let me issue a special invitation to the First Annual Pine Mtn Church of the Nazarene Christmas Bazaar to be held tomorrow, Dec 6th from 8:00-2:00 in the Fellowship Hall. I will be there with 15 other vendors. We still have time for your own Christmas decorations plus those orders for Christmas presents. The ladies of the church have worked hard and I'm excited to join them and be a part of it. Bring the kids for pictures with Santa (free) and other photography will also be available. The church is located on the left on Hwy 19 going toward Zebulon. Come out, enjoy the day and help support each other. Check out Vicki Harp's post for more information. Hope to see you Saturday!!
