The update is completed!

Coming back to where it all started for me in Wi******er. The original postcard mural I painted back in 2021 is still there, but it’s gotten a bit up an upgrade!

I’m excited to finally reveal the updated mural. This wall holds so many memories for me, and now it’s holding even more.

This is where it all began. That original mural helped open the door to many opportunities. From small local businesses hiring me to paint for them, to projects with Parks & Recreation, Main Street Winsted Mural, and even the local fire department.

One sec let me just wipe my camera lens ….

Coming back to where it all started for me in Winsted. The original postcard mural I painted back in 2021 is still there, but it’s gotten a big bright upgrade!!

I’m SO excited to finally reveal the new mural and share. This wall holds so many memories for me, and now it’s holding even more.

Let’s wrap this mural up today!! ☀️

The sun will be out, shining bright, and bringing some beautiful painting weather

Coming back to where it all started for me in little Winsted. The original postcard mural I painted back in 2021 is still there, but it’s gotten an upgrade.

I’m SO excited to finally reveal the new mural and share. This wall holds so many memories for me, and now it’s holding even more.
This is where it all began. That original mural helped open the door to opportunities I never imagined. From small local businesses hiring me to paint for them, to projects with Parks & Recreation, Main Street Winsted Mural, and even the local fire department.

It’s more than just a mural. It’s a reminder of where I started, the people who believed in me, and how one project can lead to so many more.

A little behind the scenes look at my current mural going up in Winsted this past weekend. You may notice it’s the original one I did in the summer of 2021. It’s getting a little upgrade!

This project has me stepping outside my usual comfort zone and experimenting with spray paint on a larger scale for the first time. Learning the ins and outs and trying new techniques.
Always something new to learn and another way to grow as an artist.

🎃 We’re so excited to finally have our Mini Art Print Vending Machine out in the community! 🖤

You can find it this month at Litchfield County Axe House, featuring a collection of limited-edition Halloween prints!

There are 5 different prints to collect, so stop by and see if you can snag them all!

While you’re there, enjoy some Halloween movies, check out their brand new bar and signature cocktails, and, of course, throw some axes! 🪓🍸

We’re so excited to bring our art into the community in a fun, new way. Be sure to stop by, grab a print, and support a great local business!

A little behind the scenes look at my next mural project! 🎨
This project has me stepping outside my usual comfort zone and experimenting with spray paint on a larger scale for the first time.
I was inspired after talking to the amazing and talented artist 𝔸𝕣𝕥 𝕓𝕪 ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣 ℍ𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕖𝕟 Heather who is also a CT based artist. As she used cans on her latest mural.

Learning the ins and outs, trying new techniques, and having a blast along the way!

Always something new to learn and another way to grow as an artist 👩🏼‍🎨

🍕 PIZZA PARTY! 🍕

This mural was a first in so many ways.
It was my biggest mural to date, my first state grant-funded project, and even had a media team come out to capture some behind-the-scenes footage. Every detail was painted by hand with a brush the only thing I used a roller for was the base color. Me and my 1-inch brush got it done!

I started this one during a heat wave and somehow finished it wearing pants. I got rained out more times than I can count, worked through a cracked vertebra, met some really great people, and had so many friends stop by along the way. I even managed to drop a few paintbrushes from the roof to the ground… because apparently that’s part of the process too.

By the end, this mural became so much more than just a project. It became a collection of stories, challenges, memories, unexpected moments, and people that I’ll always associate with Main Street in Winsted.

That’s a wrap, Main Street!
Onto the next one. 😉

A huge thank you to everyone who made this mural possible from Ted the owner for being absolutely amazing, ABC pizza staff, everyone who brought me a ladder and or scaffolding, and of course in the Town of Wi******er/Winsted, CT for trusting me to bring this idea to life !
