Melissa’s Christmas in July cast-on is right on track to be finished by the holidays ❄️

We just picked up a restock of these Nordic Snowflake Sweater Kits from our local dyer Alycia of KnitWise Fibers

Start now if you want to avoid the pressure and rush on your holiday sweater making this year ⏳

As a side note: we’re obsessed with how she added a mohair just in the colorwork - we have some colors of Ito Sensai in the shop that would pair well with these kits if you want to copy her idea!

This pattern got my attention today. A couple of customers have double-knitted projects on their needles, which I find fascinating. At first glance, I thought this cowl was also double-knit. But it uses different charts and a provisional cast-on to give the same effect. ~ Melissa

This pattern was inspired by the Japanese stitching technique known as kogin. The flowers and other graphics often associated with this method are referenced here in stranded knitting.

Two rooms just opened at Goat Together. 🧶

October 2–4 at The Paxton in Thomasville, GA. About half our guests this year are returning faces — that should tell you something.

New this year: Sandy Barnes from ITO Yarns joins us Saturday morning via video, our two-yarn matchmaker walking us through pairings before we swatch. ITO and Emma's Yarns will both have pop-ups on the porch.

Guided sessions, a walking tour with Mr. Fuzzy Goat, cocktail/mocktail hour with Graham, private shopping at Fuzzy Goat, and a SWAG bag we're pretty proud of.

Two rooms. Link in bio.

The kit you’ll want to make for fall 🍁

Buffalo Check Bliss is a fi*****ng weight shawl with silk in the blend, so it’s easy to work on through the end of the summer heat and ready for you the first week the air finally turns.

The buffalo check comes from a slide-and-turn technique that looks harder than it knits 🧶

She used the Uncommon Thread Cocoon, our favorite silky 🧶 that’s lighter than air & as colorful as we are 🌈

This pattern takes less than 1,000 yds and is perfect for transitioning into fall layers even while it’s still hot out!

👩‍🏫 Kit has a one day, two hour class on this breezy top coming up in September - sign up online or swing by to learn more!
