The Remnant & Rug Shop will be closed in observance of the Labor Day weekend, Saturday, August 30, Sunday, August 31, and Monday, September 1st, resuming normal business hours Tuesday, September 2 nd. To each of you have a fun and a safe holiday weekend. Look forward to seeing y’all on Tuesday.

We have a special buy on these two great rugs at the Remnant & Rug Shop! The first one is a 13' round music rug that would be great for a school or church music room. The retail price on this rug is $699, but you can purchase today for $399.

The oriental rug is 12'x15'. It is extremely hard to find a rug that size these days. The retail price is normally $2,499, but you can buy it today for $799.

We have your classroom covered just in time for the new school year. We have received a large order of 6x9 educational rugs. These rugs normally run $300 when special ordered. Our regular price is $129, but for a limited time we are offering them for the low back-to-school price of only $99. These rugs are great for the elementary classroom or your child's room at home.

Have you ever been in the Remnant Shop and wondered what anyone would possibly do with one of the short remnants that we have along the wall? Well, here's one use for them. They are really great to protect the floor under your grills. It keeps the deck or concrete from getting stained from all the drips from the grill. The vinyl is also really easy to clean. Just take it up and hit it with the pressure washer and it's as good as new! We always have a good selection at low prices at the Remnant & Rug Shop.

Our family has been in the flooring business for close to 50 years. We have had many installers during that time, but we have had very few craftsmen. Steve Shelton was just that. He was a perfectionist that strived to do every job to the best of his abilities. Steve also expected the same of those that worked for and with him. His commitment to quality showed by the number of customers that requested him by name.

Steve wasn't just dedicated to his work. He also loved and was dedicated to his family. While I never spent much time with Harley, I feel that I know her well by how much Steve talked about her throughout the years. As dedicated as he was to his work, he never let that get in the way of being there for his family. I can recall many times when he would be close to finishing a job, but had to leave to be there for his daughter's ballgame. Steve's commitment to his family should be an example to us all.

Steve's shoes will be tough to fill at the Remnant & Rug Shop. He will be missed by us all and will not be soon forgotten. His family is in all of our thoughts and prayers.
