Hi! I’ve been seeing some new names here, thank you for following along. In case you are wondering who is behind this page, here’s a brief reintroduction.

I’m Francesca, founder of SentireDesign. I started the interior design studio a while ago, but these past three years it’s truly become a full-time commitment in every sense. Experience gave me a foundation, but being on my own pushed me to define who I am and who I want to be.

Over time I realized my path is Italian design and that obsession with craftsmanship and style that comes with it. It’s what I know inside out, what comes natural to me, and what I would love you to come to me for.

One of the most meaningful parts of this work is that it always finds a way to bring me back home. I will be heading back to Milan and Treviso soon, and moments like this remind me how connected I can stay to Italy through design.

I am currently living in the Conejo Valley, and loving it. It’s a slower rhythm, a different landscape, and somehow it keeps opening up new possibilities. If you are new here, welcome. And if you have been with us for a while, big thank you for being part of this journey.

One year ago today, the fires changed everything for so many lives across Southern California. Homes were lost, everyday routines were interrupted, and the sense of β€œnormal” disappeared overnight.

Rebuilding, both emotionally and physically, is not easy, and it never follows a straight line. To those healing and choosing to rebuild: we see you, and know this isn’t just about construction. It’s also about closure, crossing the finish line and finally putting this chapter behind you.

Healing is remembering, and choosing to rebuild with care, purpose, and resilience. Keep it up, LA 🀍
