I just finished a complete overhaul of this beautiful cast iron lamp….the only thing not replaced is the green cast iron body and it was thoroughly cleaned.
It now has a full range dimmer(3 way bulbs are hard to find and expensive when you do find them) and I had to add brass check rings to cover some worn areas and to help tighten up everything.
I love the weather vane looking finial!

I took this picture of our back yard last night from the southwest corner of my yard.
I thought it was a cool picture and showed it to a friend and she asked “what is this?” as she blew it up.
I looked at the blown up pic and couldn’t believe my eyes.

I was given this beautiful porcelain vase by a first time customer last week.
She wants it turned into a lamp. No instructions other than staining the base and cap I had to make with a mahogany stain.
Porcelain is very hard and can crack while being drilled. That Ain’t Good!
The Gods were with me today!
