It's wonderful to have so many options to share with all of you!

This week we are cooking spaghetti carbonara, vindaloo, paella and coq au vin!

Did you know our in house chef was an Executive Chef for Tanaka of Bridgeport? He was also Sous Chef at Southland Wh***ey Kitchen among other spots in Portland ❤️

Join us as we set up for a cooking class!

We prepped this class for five guests and they learned to make Pad Thai and papaya salad!

The set up is so important because it's the first impression you make to those walking through the doors. We want them to arrive relaxed, knowing they are in good hands for their cooking experience!

Hey Portland! I'm Claire, in the middle is Tashi and on the right is Cortney ❤️. We are the owners and operators of Cookin' Class in Tigard.

I never feel truly authentic talking about what we do because there's a part of representing our business that needs to be curated. I love what we do. I love that I get to plan classes, answer emails and answer the phone. I love that Tashi is so amazing at teaching the classes even when he thinks he’s ordinary. I love how Cortney is the literal bones behind the operation and how she's working so hard to develop new classes and make sure we pay our bills every month.

I love that we get to meet so many people and hear their experiences around food. I love that you guys love our classes so much. It's such a weird experience...after so many years serving tables, to have people coming through the doors of OUR business. It's a literal dream come true.

If you haven't taken a class yet, I hope you feel compelled to take one soon. We would love to meet you!

Tashi put A LOT of effort into making a pastry class. Our Mini Class featuring galettes is perfect for all ages and is a super fun way to spend a Sunday morning.

Classes are held at our Tigard facility at 9265 SW Greenburg Rd every Wednesday through Sunday.

We're thrilled to welcome Sokol Blosser Winery for a special Seared Salmon cooking class featuring perfectly seared salmon with sherry beurre blanc, dill oil, a bright pickled fennel salad, and a silky lemon posset for dessert.
