Mixing finishes doesn't have to feel chaotic. When it's done with purpose, it creates a new sense of harmony.

This kitchen is one with a lot of depth and personality. With a mix of White Icing, Carriage Black, and a Biscotti stain, the kitchen feels layered and detailed. A Snowy River quartz countertop keeps the palette balanced and refined, letting the mixed palette be the center of attention. The blend of tones and textures creates a space that feels designed and lived-in, modern and collected at the same time.

A basement transformed into the place everyone wants to be.

For this family, entertaining is a way of life. Golf is a passion. Gathering around good food and better company is non-negotiable. So when they reimagined their basement, every decision centered around one goal: create a space where all three could happen seamlessly, together.

The bar became the anchor. Dramatic arches, moody finishes, warm lighting that sets the tone. The kitchen wraps around a generous island, designed so the host stays in the room and guests stay close. And the golf simulator? It's the heart. The reason kids and adults alike are downstairs on a Tuesday night or a weekend full of company.

Three functions. One vision. One basement that works as hard as the family who lives in it.

This master bath started as a 90s holdover, but the transformation tells a different story.

A bright space with all the square footage but none of the intention. Oversized features. Limited storage. A layout that didn’t quite support how the family wanted to live. But everything changed with a single decision: bold green wallpaper with orange accents. That became the anchor.

From there, every element was about balance. Black painted shaker cabinetry replaced the cluttered vanity. A freestanding tub replaced what was once bulky and oversized. Warm oak-look tile in elongated planks grounded the drama without overwhelming it. Green tile surrounded the new shower—calming, not stark.
The result is a space that finally feels like what it was always meant to be. A retreat. A moment of calm before the day begins and after it ends. Personal, layered, and deeply intentional.

Cottage tones anchor the perimeter, steady and calm, while the Molasses-stained island pulls focus without demanding it. With subtle veining, the quartz flows throughout, adding movement and depth without demanding the room's focus. Everything works in conversation rather than competition. Some spaces are designed to impress. This one was designed to be used, every day, by everyone, in every season.

The kitchen is what makes it all effortless. Built around a large island that doubles as a gathering spot, it's designed to keep the host in the room and the guests close.

Completed by the client and their father, this space was crafted to feel collected and distinctly personal. Every choice reflects their vision. Maple Masterpiece Cabinetry brings warmth and intention to the space, elevated by a Calacatta Idillio quartz to complete the composition. Light, refined, considered.
