Art is my Fidget

I started as a photographer and started getting into arts and crafts that let me work with my hands.

My girls and I ended up in the Toledo Blade!!

Working on my Christmas 🎄 commissions this year. I'm going to be having surgery on my arm in December. Because of that, I will be unable to accept new commissions after Thanksgiving. So if you were wanting to get something made this year, please reach out soon!

Ok! Mariah Carey has been awoken. I can start posting my Christmas stuff for the year. First up is this Santa wreath!

Art is My Fidget has taken a new step! I now have works up at the Handmade Hotspot on Woodville rd. Go check it out, there's all kinds of neat items there! And it's right off the highway.

I made my first tags, and you can find this bat there, while it lasts!!

So, it's International Bat week! 🦇

I love making bats. I am offering 10% off on Bats through midnight on Halloween. All bats are regularly $35. They will be made to order, so let me know what colorway you're interested in and I can get it started for you!

Happy National Pumpkin day!

Because it's national pumpkin day *and* it's my birthday, I'm running a sale through Friday::

All pumpkins are 10% off. (Because October is the 10th month of the year)

I stumbled across a set up from one of my earliest shows. Both of these were mid October. This is a 3 years ago to today.

I dunno if my set up is better. But I do know that my work is better now than 3 years ago.

Thank you to every one who has encouraged, patroned, and helped along the way. I truly do hope to continue to grow this adventure.

At my last show, a girl, around 10ish came up and pointed at this Medusa and said "I've seen that before!" And in my head, I'm like ... No, this is the first time I've put this one out.

And then I thought maybe she just meant she knew who it was. I ask her to repeat herself, because if you know me in real life, you know I am so bad at hearing. So she repeats herself and adds, "at the ink shop"

Then it dawned on me, the first one I made was bought by a tattoo artist

And I thought that was really cool to be recognized that way.
