🌹 **I think it’s time I properly introduce myself—and tell you why I do what I do.** 🌹

My name is Meredith, I’m the woman behind **Nadiya’s Unique Boutique**, and some of you may know me simply as **the Rose Lady.**

If you’ve spent any time out around Toledo and the 419 over the years, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve seen me carrying roses—or maybe one of them has even found its way into your hands.

**Yep. Those glitter roses. That’s me. šŸŒ¹ā¤ļø
**

And I realized recently that while thousands of people have seen my roses, bought my roses, received my roses, taken pictures with them, and carried them home…

**a lot of people probably don’t know the woman who makes them—or why I do this in the first place.**

Yes, I sell roses.

Yes, this is my business.

But somewhere along the way, I realized **the rose itself was never really the point.**

🌹 **The rose is the vehicle. The purpose is connection.**

There is something incredibly powerful about walking into a room full of complete strangers and having a reason to approach someone I otherwise may never have met.

For just a few seconds, our lives cross.

I’ve watched someone’s entire face change when they’re handed a rose.

I’ve seen men immediately know exactly which woman in the room deserves one.

I’ve watched women buy roses for their girlfriends.

I’ve watched strangers give them to strangers.

I’ve seen someone think about themselves for a second—and then turn around and say, *ā€œActually, give this to her.ā€*

I’ve watched people give them to bartenders and servers who have spent the entire night taking care of everybody else.

And I’ve handed roses to people who didn’t buy anything at all simply because something in me said, **give that person a rose.**

Those are the moments that keep me doing this.

Because I don’t know what happened in somebody’s life before I walked into that room.

I don’t know who hasn’t felt appreciated lately.

I don’t know who is celebrating something.

I don’t know who is grieving something.

I don’t know who hasn’t received flowers in years.

I don’t know who desperately needed one tiny reminder that somebody noticed them.

**And I don’t have to know.**

Sometimes all it takes is a small gesture to change the energy of someone’s moment.

That is what these roses have taught me.

And then something started happening that I never could have planned.

**People kept them.**

People have stopped me years later and told me, *ā€œI still have my rose.ā€*

I’ve had people tell me their rose is still sitting on the **dashboard of their car.**

I’ve been told they’re **pressed between the pages of Bibles.**

They’re sitting in **vases in people’s homes.**

They’re tucked away with things that mean something to somebody.

Some have traveled from one person to another.

Some represent a relationship.

Some represent a night somebody never forgot.

Some probably have stories attached to them that I will never know.

And THAT means something to me.

Because something I sat down and made with my own two hands became part of somebody else’s life.

Maybe only for a night.

**Or maybe for years.**

That’s when you realize you’re not just making a product anymore.

You’re making something that can become attached to a memory.

🌹 **A rose is small. The moment attached to it might not be.**

I’ve always believed that what we put into this world matters.

Kindness travels.

Love travels.

Energy travels.

And when you put something good into another person, you don’t necessarily get to see where it goes from there.

That’s a huge part of why I do this.

I can’t fix everything that’s wrong with this world.

But I can walk into my little corner of it carrying roses.

I can make somebody laugh.

I can compliment a stranger.

I can remind another woman she’s beautiful.

I can give somebody an opportunity to make someone *else* feel special.

I can leave the energy in a room a little different than I found it.

**That’s my purpose.**

The roses just happen to be how I found my way of doing it. 🌹

And now, after all these years, I want to see something.

**I want to see where my roses went.**

So I’m asking for one very simple form of support—and it doesn’t cost you a penny.

**I’m not asking you to buy anything.**

I’m not asking you for money.

I’m not asking you to write a review or make some big promotional post.

I’m asking you to help me **connect the dots.**

🌹 **If you’ve ever received one of my roses—TAG ME.**

🌹 **If you have a picture holding one—TAG ME.**

🌹 **If someone bought you one on a night out—TAG ME.**

🌹 **If you still have one in a vase—SHOW ME.**

🌹 **If there’s one riding around on your dashboard right now—I WANT TO SEE IT. šŸ˜‚**

🌹 **And if one of my roses is pressed inside your Bible, tucked away in a keepsake box, sitting on your dresser, or saved somewhere special—I’d especially love to hear the story behind it.**

Tag my personal page and please tag my business page:

🌹 **Nadiya’s Unique Boutique** 🌹

And add ** ** so I can find it.

And don’t worry about how old the picture is.

Actually, **the older, the better.**

If you have a picture from YEARS ago, dig that thing out. šŸ˜‚

Because I know I’ve made thousands upon thousands of these roses.

I’ve carried them into countless places.

I’ve met people I’ll probably never see again.

And somewhere out there are photographs, stories and memories containing something that once started in **my hands.**

I want to see them.

I want to see the people.

I want to hear the stories.

I want to see the dashboards.

I want to see the vases.

I want to see those old pictures you forgot you even had.

I want to see how many of these little roses are **still out there.**

Because maybe if we start putting all those pictures and stories together, we’ll finally be able to see something I’ve felt for a long time:

**It was never just about selling roses.**

It was about what happened **after the rose left my hands.**

The smile.

The person who gave it.

The person who received it.

The memory attached to it.

The place it ended up.

And sometimes, apparently, the Bible or dashboard it has called home for the last five years. šŸ˜‚ā¤ļøšŸŒ¹

So if one of my roses has ever crossed your path, **help me find it.**

Tag **Nadiya’s Unique Boutique**.

Tag **me**.

Use ** **.

Share the picture.

Tell me where your rose is now.

That’s it.

That’s the support I’m asking for.

**Let’s see how far a little love has traveled. šŸŒ¹ā¤ļø**

Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank you all for coming to this page and showing your support. As some of you know in April I became my mom full-time caretaker after a massive stroke she had the day after Thanksgiving. And even before that things were quite wonky on my end. So I have been putting my time and energy into other places. Not intentionally ignoring this page, but knowing I couldn't promote more with my time being pulled in other directions. Now with that being said I wanted to let you all know I am back up and running for your customs arrangements. If you can work with me I can work with you. I just need at least 48 hours notice for orders Saturday through Tuesday. Wednesday- Friday, I can do them that day provided you have contacted me before noon. We are pushing for more organic orders and less on the spot sales. Not that I don't love to see all your beautiful faces, some days just might not work out for various reasons. So again I can't thank you for all the support that has been shown over the years and I apologize for the disconnect while I sorted my life out againšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø it's a journey in just here to ride the waves, but them gnarly ones can phase out anytime now šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø
