🪡 LAST MINUTE CLASS ADDITION! Kick off your summer with a fun, whimsical project. ✨

We decided to add Ms. Tanya's highly requested Jelly Roll Rug class to the calendar for NEXT SATURDAY, May 30!

This class will give novice sewists practice with zigzag stitching and trying out a more unique project. Tanya doesn't teach very often, but when she does, the classes fill up fast. Reserve your spot now! (🔗 Link in comments)

Hi, friends!

This is a milestone moment for The Quilty Shop, and I’m so thankful to finally share it with you.

A New Chapter

After a lot of prayer and planning, my husband and I officially purchased the property two doors down from our current shop earlier this year. I’ve had my eye on this property since December 2023, and when everything finally lined up, I knew it was the right step forward for our family and the business.

Over the coming months, the existing house on the property will be fully demolished, and we’ll be building a brand-new space that will become the future home of The Quilty Shop, along with offices for BYB Advisors, my husband’s consulting business. We will continue operating in our current location at Gloyer’s throughout this process, with a Grand Opening in our new space planned for May 2027, our 5th Birthday!

What I'm Planning

While we are still in the early planning and design phase, I can already tell you how excited I am about what this will mean for our shop and for you. This new space is being designed very intentionally to better serve our customers and our community. Here are just a few things I’m planning for the new shop:
- Doubled retail floor space
- Two classrooms
- Additional bathrooms
- And many more things currently in discussion

The Heart Behind It

My vision for this next chapter is to continue crafting a destination quilt shop, one that offers a thoughtfully designed, elevated experience that feels just as special as the projects you create.

Looking Ahead

You may have already noticed some activity at the property (those big privacy screens are hard to miss on Main Street!), and I wanted you to hear this directly from me. There are still a lot of details to finalize, and we’ll be sharing more along the way as plans come together and the building goes up!

Thank you for being such a special part of The Quilty Shop. It truly means the world to serve a community that is passionate about creating beautiful things and supporting small businesses.

🎄 Just a quick holiday heads-up for our sweet customers!

1. Christmas Closures ✨
We will be CLOSED Wednesday, Dec. 24 through Friday, Dec. 26 so our team can celebrate Christmas with family and rest a bit. We’ll be back and ready to see you Saturday!

2. One last chance for sharpening! ✂️
Our scissor guy will be in the shop TOMORROW (Tuesday, Dec. 23) for the final sharpening round of the year. If your scissors need a refresh, don’t miss it!
