One of the things we consistently prioritize within our projects is the incorporation of highly curated, distinctive artwork and sculptural elements that give a home depth, individuality, and a strong sense of character.

In this space, that approach is expressed both artistically and architecturally. Hand-blown glass sconces layered against rich walnut paneling create a dimensional focal point, while sculptural lighting, layered rugs, and handcrafted furnishings bring warmth and texture throughout the room.

Rather than relying on a single statement piece, our team focused on creating composition through layering, balancing geometry with softer forms, artisanal detailing, and rich materiality to create a space that feels collected, immersive, and highly personal.

From the interior architecture through the final decorative layers, every element was considered to work together cohesively, reinforcing continuity, craftsmanship, and overall experience throughout the home.

Originally, this seating area felt disconnected from the architecture of the room, with the furniture arrangement sitting too far removed from the fireplace and lacking a true sense of purpose. Rather than forcing the layout back toward the original focal point, our team chose to completely reorient the space around the sweeping ocean views stretching from Palos Verdes to Malibu.

To create a more intimate and functional gathering space, we introduced oversized lounge seating with soft organic lines and a serpentine silhouette that naturally encourages conversation and relaxation. A sculptural stone table, layered with warm tonal variations, anchors the seating arrangement, while a bold Cubism-inspired artwork brings movement and color repetition throughout the space.

Designed as a true retreat within the home, this has become one of the family’s most-used spaces, a place to gather, unwind, and connect throughout the day.

We always strive to create moments like this in a home: spaces that not only function beautifully but also naturally bring people together.

Designed more than 15 years ago, this custom residence was created as a true retreat for a family of five, a home thoughtfully designed for gathering, entertaining, and everyday living.

Every detail was centered around longevity, comfort, and ease of living. While durability and low-maintenance materials were essential priorities for an active family home, the design never compromised on sophistication, warmth, or timeless detailing.

One of the greatest challenges in designing a home of this scale is balancing refined aesthetics with the realities of daily family life. Our team approached the project by layering classic architectural principles, performance-driven materials, and tailored furnishings that could withstand years of use while still feeling elevated and inviting.

By focusing on enduring design rather than trend-driven choices, the home remains as relevant and welcoming today as when it was first completed, proof that timeless interiors are always rooted in thoughtful functionality and lasting comfort.

Located just off the main entertaining spaces, this powder room was designed to feel cohesive with the adjacent bar area while still carrying its own distinct identity.

To create continuity between the spaces, our team repeated the custom metal detailing on the cabinetry and carried through the same stone surfaces used in the bar. Layered materials, including a textured wall covering, polished nickel sink, and refined plumbing fixtures, bring softness and contrast against the more structured architectural elements.

Throughout the space, we continued the theme of geometry and faceting through the angled wall covering, faceted mirror, and stepped backsplash detailing, creating depth, reflection, and dimension within a compact footprint.

Finished with a simple jewel-like pendant, the space feels understated yet elevated. Proof that even the smallest rooms within a home deserve thoughtful detailing and architectural intention.

Designed as a true social hub within the home, this bar space was created to support seamless indoor-outdoor entertaining while still feeling elevated and highly functional.

One of the primary design challenges was creating a bar that could fully open to the exterior without sacrificing the refinement and visual impact of an interior focal point. To solve this, our team designed a custom metal garage-style door system that folds upward, allowing the space to transition effortlessly between indoors and out while still maintaining a beautiful glass display when closed.

Layered materials bring warmth and depth throughout the space. A Cristallo quartzite bar top is softly uplighted to highlight the stone's natural movement, while textured limestone walls, backlit sconces, antiqued mirror detailing, and rich leather bar stools create atmosphere and contrast.

Above, a recessed circular ceiling detail framed with integrated lighting adds an architectural focal point that ties the space together.

We intentionally design spaces like this as “social stages” within the home, areas designed for gathering, entertaining, and everyday living.

Who wouldn’t want to wake up to this view?

This kitchen-adjacent nook was designed as a seamless extension of outdoor living, where indoor comfort and alfresco dining naturally overlap. Framed by warm summer breezes and expansive ocean views, the space is intended to feel open, relaxed, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Positioned just steps from the outdoor dining and barbecue area, it supports an effortless flow between cooking, gathering, and entertaining—reinforcing true indoor-outdoor living.

A soft, neutral palette keeps the focus on the landscape, allowing light, air, and view to take priority while maintaining a calm, refined interior presence.

A relaxed dining space positioned between the kitchen and main living areas, this room is designed to feel casual, light-filled, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Framed by natural light and lush green views, it anchors everyday living with ease.

Above the table, a hand-blown glass fixture introduces movement and softness, casting shifting light across the space throughout the day. Below, a cast bronze table base draws inspiration from the client’s ocean lifestyle, subtly referencing kelp beds and the fins of a surfboard as a quiet nod to life on the water. The hand-hewn tabletop adds warmth and craftsmanship, paired with leather-wrapped rattan seating.

Overhead, reclaimed timber beams salvaged from a 125-year-old barn in Pennsylvania bring history forward in a new context. Hand-selected for their character, they ground the room in texture and time, transforming a piece of architectural history into something living and current.

The space reflects a layered approach to materials and story, where restraint, texture, and heritage come together in a way that feels both effortless and intentional.

Designed as a quiet retreat, this primary suite balances texture, restraint, and refined comfort, feeling both elevated and deeply livable.

A key design challenge was introducing architectural depth while preserving the clean, simplified aesthetic our clients were drawn to. In response, our team developed a layered wood ceiling with a stepped soffit wrapped in textured materials, adding dimension without visual heaviness.

A hammered metal lamp was intentionally selected as a sculptural accent, introducing a subtle tactile contrast that complements the softer finishes throughout the space.

Soft neutrals, sculptural forms, and refined materials work together to create a calm, considered environment where simplicity still feels rich in detail.

Designed to make an immediate impression, this space was conceived as a moment of surprise and detail the moment you step through the custom entry door.

High contrast drives the design direction, with a black countertop paired against a uniquely patterned floor finished with contrasting grout. Vertical-cut walnut adds warmth and rhythm, balancing the darker elements with natural texture.

At the vanity, a layered wall covering sets the backdrop for a handmade mirror and sculptural mica pendants, creating depth and subtle movement throughout the space. Thoughtful styling details, such as fresh orange florals, bring a quiet sense of life and color to the composition.

Every element was custom considered to create a powder room that feels warm, inviting, and distinctly tailored—reflecting both the client’s vision and a deep attention to detail throughout the design.
