We just installed this cupola in Old Lyme. Came out real nice! Cutting the bottom in to shape the shingles was a fun little project. Overall enjoyed doing this because it's not every day I get to install things like this.

Hello everyone! This is another project that I'm working on. Basement laundry makeover alongside a new movie room and an open office space. This is another project that is being done in phases. Phase one included demo(sorry not many before pictures), reworking plumbing and electrical, the walls to separate rooms. Completing the laundry room was the goal for this phase. We used wood trim to match the existing trim over the house's main structural beams. A soffit with a drop ceiling was built to have access to plumbing. Recessed lights, a new tile floor, a shelf over the washer dryer, and this room is done! Next phase will be the movie room to be completed at a later date! Back to my other project now to remodel a bathroom and baby room!

Hello everyone, I'm Mike Coffin, the owner of Coffin's Creative Carpentry. This is a project being done for a close friend of mine. It's being done in several phases, and Phase 1 is complete! We really opened this place up. Several walls were taken down, and structural beams were added to support the new open layout. When I first looked at this job, I fell in love with the hip roof and working valley that was just waiting to be opened up. Taking down the 8ft ceiling exposed all that to be seen. The recessed lighting added just the right touch to this amazing space. We painted the beams, doors, and old cabinets black to give it a temporarily done feel because the 3rd Phase will not start until mid spring. The third phase will include the kitchen being updated with new cabinets and appliances. All of the exposed wood will be wrapped in matching stained wood. The windows, doors, floor, and trim will also be part of Phase 3. For now, though, a small project in Hebron,CT, and then on to Phase 2! The bathroom and baby room! My clients are expecting soon, and Coffin's Creative Carpentry is trying to give them the best home we know how to raise their new family!
