Current POV: Luxe lakeside living infused with warm grains and statement stone.🍁

We added brass accents to dial up the elegance factor. As for the abundance of natural light, that’s courtesy of the brilliant Keowee backdrop.

Always 5 o’clock somewhere. 🥂 But not every bar can tout the same stylish sophistication featured at our lakeside retreat.

Tucked in the spacious great room, our statement wet bar is just one of many highlights throughout this rustic gathering space.

Handcrafted ceiling beams combine with textured natural fabrics and finishes to create a cozy captivating vibe. Just add Keowee views!

Thrilled to introduce our new Director of Interior Design, LAUREN RUBIO. You may recognize her name! As the daughter of our company’s founders, she has grown up in this industry but didn’t join the company until recently.

Lauren will lead sales and business development efforts, studio operations, and overall management of the LHDS team.
She brings an impressive 18 years of experience in sales, leadership, and business development, yet her greatest strength is her ability to connect people, create opportunities, and turn relationships into meaningful results.

She has a genuine passion for her hometown and a strong appreciation for the design and building community here, but especially for the LH Design Studio brand, which bears her full name, Lauren Heather.

Lauren graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Spanish. She is the proud mother of “Baby Gus,” as we all know him, who has officially become a kindergartner!

She and her husband, Justin, have also recently taken on the renovation of their new home, just around the corner from her parents—so she is getting a firsthand look at the joys of renovation from both sides of the table!

Welcome Lauren! We know with you on board, the best is yet to come for and all of us at .

Penthouse perfection. Our modern Greenville perch is full of custom designed wood features, handcrafted cabinetry, sleek finishes and seamless flow.

The entire condo was designed to accentuate the spectacular views. While each selection and feature is striking, we made sure that no detail detracted from the 360 degrees of stunning city glimpses.

Gorgeous urban gathering space, doubled! When our founders, Gus and Belinda Rubio, imagined the perfect great room in their new Greenville home, they had both the inside and outdoors in mind.

The result is an open flow between the two living areas, seamlessly facilitated by large glass doors that open to erase boundaries.

Belinda says she savors early mornings on the porch with her pup(s), where the screens retract and the stone fireplace is always at the ready.

Inside, another fireplace, natural palette and 200-year-old ceiling beams from a Pennsylvania barn gracefully flank the kitchen and dining areas. You can see Gus’ leather reading chair to the left of the hearth!
