This is a very helpful summary of all the problems we saw in turf grass this summer! It was definitely a challenging year for disease and w**d pressure for many lawns in the area.

The summer of 2025 was one of extreme temperatures, high humidity and precipitation excesses and deficiencies. The result was stressed turf, turf death and less than perfect turfgrass conditions throughout the summer.

Happy almost Fourth of July! Just a little reminder that we will be closed Thursday for the holiday and we will also be closed this Saturday, July 6, as the route for the Cherry Royale Parade makes it challenging to get to us.

Seeds! Potatoes! Onions! Wildflowers! Spring is here (as long as it doesn't get blown away by the wild winds today) and we are stocked up for what's ahead. We have a few new varieties this year and the favorites we've carried for many seasons.
