I’ve been quietly planning and working on something new at the shop, and I’m finally ready to share a little bit about it!

When I opened The Red Dresser almost 20 years ago, one of my biggest dreams was to create a place where local makers, artists and vintage lovers could have a space to share their creations, talents and treasures.

Over the years, the shop has grown and evolved into so much more. We’ve become known for gifts, home décor, furniture, local makers work and all of the beautiful things that fill our spaces—and it has been an amazing journey.

But lately, I’ve been feeling a little tug to go back to where it all began. ❤️

Back to my roots.

So I’ve been creating a brand-new space inside The Red Dresser dedicated to talented local makers, artists and vintage sellers. A little corner of the shop that feels very much like those early Red Dresser days—full of creativity, one-of-a-kind finds, handmade goods and treasures with a story.

I cannot wait for you to see it and help us support even more local small businesses.

Sometimes moving forward means remembering where you started. ❤️

Welcome to Going Back to My Roots.

❤️ THANK YOU! ❤️

What an incredible weekend! We truly feel like this was the BEST Red Dresser Barn Market we’ve ever had, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you!

To our amazing customers who came out, shopped, ate, listened to music and supported so many small businesses—THANK YOU! You showed up in a BIG way, and we are beyond grateful.

To our incredibly talented vintage vendors, makers and artisans—you brought your very best and created such a beautiful market. Our food trucks knocked it out of the park, the live music was wonderful, and Mother Nature even gave us the most gorgeous weekend!

Tom, Doug and Deb —there simply aren’t enough words. You worked so hard behind the scenes and throughout the entire weekend to help make everything run smoothly. We couldn't do this without you. ❤️

Our hearts are full, our feet are tired, and we are still smiling!

Thank you, Traverse City, for making this our BEST MARKET YET! ❤️

We’ll see you next year!
