The phrase “small business” gets thrown around a lot, but we genuinely are tiny. This family is who you’re supporting when you walk into our bakery!

You might just see bread and cookies, but there’s a whole family behind it and we feel every sale on a personal level. And as mom and owner, I do not take for granted the privilege it is to do this job!

Also (just for transparency’s sake) this photo took about 20 minutes of “can we PLEASE just take one nice photo” attempts. lol

But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Sometimes dog enrichment looks a little different with pups that are inured, nervous or stressed in a shelter environment. ❤️

I went to see our Frankfort lighthouse last night, and watched as the light turned on while the sun quietly set behind it.

It doesn’t fix storms.
It just shines, despite them.

This weekend, I saw our town do the same.

Over $2,000 was raised for our local barn family, and the towels piled high. (Whatever towels are extra will go to the humane society!)

This is what happens when small lights show up together. It was powerful to witness.

We live in such a beautiful corner of Michigan, and the people here are just as beautiful. Thank you for shining. I love you all!! ❤️
