This October, we’re gathering our neighbors together to give back to our community.

Bring a few items from your pantry—or pick up a little something on your next grocery run—and drop them off at the Prentice Smith Barn on Saturday, October 10. All donations will go to the Cary-Grove Food Pantry, helping provide food and everyday essentials to local families.

Peanut butter • canned tuna & chicken • canned fruit • applesauce • pasta & pasta sauce • rice • canned beans • soups & chili • macaroni & cheese • cereal • oatmeal • crackers • granola & breakfast bars • pancake mix & syrup • cooking oil • coffee & tea

Shampoo & conditioner • body wash & bar soap • toothpaste & toothbrushes • deodorant • hand soap • toilet paper • paper towels • laundry detergent • feminine hygiene products • diapers & baby wipes

Please bring unopened, unexpired, non-perishable items.

A small contribution from many neighbors can make a meaningful difference.

Three years. 🤍

Today marks three years of Hawthorn Shoppe in the barn, and we’re feeling especially grateful.

What started as a little idea has grown into something we love so much — a place for antiques, candles, books, flowers, and all the odd little things that catch your eye.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped in, brought a friend, made a purchase, shared a post, or simply cheered us on. Every bit of support has meant more than you know.

Three years in, we’re still having so much fun finding the next little thing to bring into the shop.

This fall marks three years since we opened the barn—Hawthorn Shoppe on one side, Faye Studio on the other.

Three years of antiques, candles, books, flowers, fabric, furniture, samples, projects, and all sorts of odd little things coming through the doors.

We’re so grateful for everyone who has stopped in, worked with us, shopped with us, and helped make this little barn what it is.

Come celebrate with us at our Fall Open House on September 26.

Hi Friends!

Just a quick note to let you know that our September Open House has been moved from Saturday, September 12 to Saturday, September 26.

We're located at 167 Country Commons Road in Trout Valley. As always, our gatherings are casual - come as you are, browse at your own pace, and stay awhile.

If you can’t make it that day, we’d be happy to schedule a private visit to the barn at your convenience. In the meantime, visit us online for a preview of the collection. We’re looking forward to sharing all of the beautiful things we’ve been gathering this summer.
