Sometimes the smartest kitchen solutions are also the simplest. πŸ’‘
This lower corner cabinet had plenty of storage potential…but it was deep, dark, and awkward to actually use.
The solution? We added a light.
Such a small detail, but suddenly you can actually see what’s tucked into the back of the cabinet, making an otherwise frustrating corner so much more functional.

If you own an older home, you don’t have to move to get the home you’ve been dreaming about. 🀍
This primary bathroom had plenty of 1970s personality, blue tile included. πŸ˜‰ But more importantly, the layout and finishes simply weren’t working for the homeowners anymore.
Instead of trying to work around what was there, we took the bathroom down to the studs and thoughtfully rebuilt it for the way they live today.
We extended the shower to create a more spacious experience, added a bidet, updated the vanity and mirror, and designed a custom-built linen closet to give them beautiful, functional storage exactly where they needed it.

The result? A bathroom that feels fresh, clean and completely transformed, while still being part of the home they already know and love.

When square footage is limited, good kitchen design isn’t about squeezing in more cabinets, it’s about making every inch of the cabinetry you have actually usable.
In this kitchen, Annie incorporated a few smart cabinet features to eliminate those awkward, hard-to-reach spaces:
✨ A corner cloud system that brings the contents of a deep corner cabinet out to you
✨ A Lazy Susan that makes corner storage easy to access instead of becoming a black hole
✨ Hinged upper cabinet doors that open up those tricky corners and eliminate wasted blind-cabinet space
These may seem like small details, but they can completely change the way a smaller kitchen functions.

When we design a kitchen, we’re always looking beyond the obvious spaces and asking: How can we make this home work better for the people living in it?
In this walk-in pantry, we created custom open shelving that maximizes storage while keeping everyday items easy to see and reach. But one of our favorite additions? Moving the beverage fridge into the pantry.

It’s a small design decision that makes a BIG difference in how the kitchen functions every day.

How do you update a colonial kitchen without stripping away everything that gave it character? 🀍
For this kitchen renovation, the goal wasn’t to make an older home suddenly feel ultra-modern. We wanted to create a transitional kitchen that felt fresh and current while still belonging in the home.
So we intentionally blended old + new:

🀍 Classic white cabinetry keeps the kitchen light, bright and timeless
🏑 White subway tile with contrasting grout gives a nod to traditional colonial style
πŸͺ΅ Custom open shelving introduces warmth and a more collected, updated feel
✨ New countertops and hardware give the entire kitchen a fresh finish

That’s what we love about transitional design. You don’t have to erase the history of a home to update it. Sometimes the best renovations are the ones that make you wonder, β€œWas it always supposed to look this way?”

And yes…we know white cabinets AND open shelving can get people talking. πŸ˜‚

Sometimes a renovation starts with a dream… and sometimes it starts with a LEAK. 😬
This bathroom had reached the point where updating it wasn’t just about making it prettier. Leaks, damage and dated finishes meant it was time to address what was happening behind the scenes, too.
But a necessary renovation can still become a space you LOVE. 🀍
We took this dated bathroom and gave it a completely fresh personality!
The result feels warmer, fresher and so much more intentional, while taking care of the problems that made the renovation necessary in the first place.
