Fireplace Doors by Stoll: A great way to improve and beautify your home!

Stoll doors are manufactured to the highest standards with superb craftsmanship, right here in the U.S. (Abbeville, SC), and by some of the finest people we do business with. During the pandemic, not once was there a delay or "supply chain issue". In fact, shipments were received on time or even early, which was rare in our industry. Things are much better now for everyone, but it does say a lot about their operations, management, staff and employees all working together behind the scenes to produce and deliver the finest quality hearth products in America! Millivolt is better...
Over years of experience having sold and installed fireplaces for customers, we have continued to recommend the Millivolt valve systems over the fancier Intermittent Pilot Ignition systems (IPI, may also be called Proflame 1 or 2). Sure, you have greater control over your fireplace, such as light dimming, remote blower speed control and flame height adjusting with IPI, but customers need to know that the IPI systems work via a control module, similar to what a motherboard is to a computer. Because these modules are sensitive to heat, condensation and moisture (like all electronics), they are also prone to failure when they are mounted with the fireplace. Our experience tells us that they often need a costly repair just a few years after installation, and often beyond the warranty period. And it turns out customers would have rather gone with a Millivolt system over the IPI, if only they would have known.
Millivolt (MV) systems have been tried and true. Tested and improved in reliability over decades in many different industrial applications, this is what we would still consider the "standard" of durability and reliability in heating products. And they cost less to purchase as well as maintain!
Most superior brands, like Marquis, still make the MV available alongside the IPI units they carry. To find out more, come by our store and check out our full line of Marquis products! An informed customer is our BEST customer.🤓

Modern Flames electric fireplace prices are due to rise!

As with many of the manufacturers in the fireplace industry, Modern Flames has instituted a significant price increase on all of its fireplace equipment effective September 1, 2021. Come in before it's too late to take advantage of current lower prices--it could save you hundreds of dollars!!! We have now eased restrictions for our customers who visit our showroom. Customers who have been fully vaccinated may enter our store without protective face covering. However, we still recommend unvaccinated customers to wear them. Out of respect for every visitor, we may ask you to wear a mask if other customers are wearing them. We will continue to keep common touchpoints well-sanitized, maintain the clear barrier at checkout, and offer hand sanitizer. Curbside and delivery services are still available. We also recommend that everyone continue practicing proper social distancing while inside our store. You've come a long way baby!...
Electric fireplaces are a great option when a gas fireplace is not. They are safe to the touch if getting burned by the hot glass (such as those on a direct vent gas fireplace) is a concern, or you'd like to mount a TV right above your fireplace without worrying about the TV overheating. They can be mounted virtually anywhere because there is no venting. They are shallow and can hang on a wall or inside simple 2x4 or 2x6 studs.
We have new models by Modern Flames right now on display. Linear contemporary models come in a range of widths, from 44" to 100", project a fiery image that can change from natural flame to a spectrum of vivid colors, which you can control with a colorwheel on the handheld remote.
