For all of my artistic friends - our St. Louis chapter of IDAL - International Decorative Artisans League, Metro Artisans Guild of St. Louis, is hosting a fantastic workshop for canvas and decorative art on Sept 25th & 26th! Leslie Nesbitt of Rhythmic Walls Decorative Painting & Design Studio will help us create eight wildly exciting and beautiful finishes that can be used as canvas art or directly on the wall. Very nice accommodations can be found at The Clayton Plaza Hotel which is within walking distance to the classroom and many yummy restaurants. We would love for you to come hang with our fun St. Louis group and create some gorgeous contemporary art with Leslie!! Two years ago, I joined the Painting Contractors Association - PCA. Since then, attending EXPO and Women in Paint has completely elevated how I see my craft and my business.
The training, industry insight, and relationships I’ve gained have pushed me to raise my standards even higher. Every event leaves me giddy - sharper, more inspired, and more committed to excellence.

Continued education isn’t optional for me — it’s part of the responsibility I have to my clients and my company.
Grateful to be part of an organization that challenges us to keep growing.

And exciting news - this year I am facilitating a brain meld table where I hope to inspire fellow paint professionals to add decorative painting to their own portfolios! This has been a passion of mine, educating others as to how profitable it can be to offer decorative finishes in the world of paint. Wish me luck!

My last project before leaving on an incredible art trip to Sicilli was a sweet chest and dresser duo that belongs to a dear friend of mine. They are patterned off of the Restoration Hardware look but with a custom blend of colors and metallics that we chose together. I absolutely love the hardware that she brought to me. So elegant. So chic. They almost look as if they belong in Europe with me. 🤍

My last project before leaving on an incredible art trip to Sicilli was a sweet dresser and chest duo that belongs to a dear friend of mine.
