My terrible kitchen.
This kitchen does not function in any way. It is way too small for two people to work in at the same time. My cabinets are way to small to hold all the dishes, so some items still sit on the floor in the dining room area. When loading the dishwasher have to stand to one side of the sink and twist to get dishes in and out!
In the dining room area, you will also notice I had to add in an IKEA bookshelf for a makeshift pantry to store my food, however, it looks like a grocery store! Even worse, yes, it can get worse, I have nowhere to put my vacuum cleaner, so it sits next to the bookshelf in the dining room! Yikes, right?
Even as a designer this kitchen has challenged me. After lots of thoughts and design concepts I am moving forward with replacing this kitchen, so let the journey begin...
