Element House has some pretty strong architectural bones. Now I’m starting to inject a little personality with the furnishings.

Vintage chairs, reupholstered in fabrics that bring color, pattern and texture, add layers that make it feel like somebody actually lives here.

Which is always the point. 😆

P.S. The dragonflies with that view are making me very happy! Fabric by K R I S T Y S T A F F O R D

Apparently 2027 isn’t as far away as it sounds.

If a remodel or new construction project has been rattling around in your head, now is a very good time to start talking about it.

Good projects need a little runway. There are layouts to think through, materials to find, contractors to coordinate with and approximately a bajillion decisions to make before anyone starts swinging a hammer.

I’m currently talking with clients about projects beginning in early 2027.

So yes, the photo is a little cheeky. But I’m serious about the 2026 part.

One of the nicest compliments I've ever received was, "None of your projects look the same."

I took that as the highest compliment.

I'm not trying to create homes that look like mine. I'm trying to create homes that feel like they're meant for the people who live in them.

That starts with listening. I spend a lot of time asking questions, paying attention to daily routines and learning what my clients love. The style grows from there.

The goal isn't a signature look.

It's a home that couldn't belong to anyone else.

Some Mondays are a little bit of everything.

Art placement, site measurements, grout colors, sourcing those last pieces that make a room feel finished... and apparently a little filming in between.

One of the things I love most about this job is that no two days are quite the same. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

One of the first questions my client asked me was, "What in the world goes with these terracotta floors?"

She lives in Seattle and was remodeling her Tucson home, so we met in person once before designing the rest of the project together from a distance.

The answer wasn't to replace the floors.

They were beautiful, full of character and exactly right for this home.

Sometimes the best design decision isn't what you add.
It's recognizing what's already worth keeping.

There's something satisfying about seeing a project move from drawings to reality.
This casita is starting to take shape, and I can't wait to share more as it comes together.

A little sneak peek...

One of my clients will have a rooftop glass office with views like this every day.

Moments like these remind me how much our surroundings influence the way we experience home. The best spaces don't just look beautiful. They support the way we work, think and live.

I can't wait to share more of this project.
