One of the nicest compliments I've ever received was, "None of your projects look the same."

I took that as the highest compliment.

I'm not trying to create homes that look like mine. I'm trying to create homes that feel like they're meant for the people who live in them.

That starts with listening. I spend a lot of time asking questions, paying attention to daily routines and learning what my clients love. The style grows from there.

The goal isn't a signature look.

It's a home that couldn't belong to anyone else.

Some Mondays are a little bit of everything.

Art placement, site measurements, grout colors, sourcing those last pieces that make a room feel finished... and apparently a little filming in between.

One of the things I love most about this job is that no two days are quite the same. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

One of the first questions my client asked me was, "What in the world goes with these terracotta floors?"

She lives in Seattle and was remodeling her Tucson home, so we met in person once before designing the rest of the project together from a distance.

The answer wasn't to replace the floors.

They were beautiful, full of character and exactly right for this home.

Sometimes the best design decision isn't what you add.
It's recognizing what's already worth keeping.

A little sneak peek...

One of my clients will have a rooftop glass office with views like this every day.

Moments like these remind me how much our surroundings influence the way we experience home. The best spaces don't just look beautiful. They support the way we work, think and live.

This kitchen didn't need to be bigger. It needed to work better.

When my clients first reached out, they thought they had a storage problem. What they really had was a planning problem.

Without changing the footprint, we reimagined every cabinet around the way they actually live. We created dedicated storage for everything from the coffee station to dog supplies, transformed an awkward pantry into full-height pull-outs and made the kitchen feel organized, welcoming and easy to use.

The beautiful materials matter. The walnut cabinetry, handmade teal tile and soft desert green all give this kitchen warmth and personality.

But the real transformation wasn't the finishes.

It was that this family stopped avoiding their kitchen.

Now they cook together, gather with friends and enjoy spending time in a space that finally supports the way they live.

I believe beautiful surroundings support human wellbeing.

But beauty alone isn't enough.

Look at this cutie kitchen!

Small kitchens are a bit like Chihuahuas. Tiny footprint. Big personality. Surprisingly demanding.

When every inch matters, cabinet layouts, appliance locations and storage solutions become even more important.

The smaller they are, the harder they have to work.

A minimal and contemporary home does not have to be boring! For this client I am expanding the world of contrast beyond just black and white. I am focused on texture and soft desert tones. Her second home in the Catalina Foothills will be a warm and welcoming retreat!
