✨ An Antique Beauty, Reimagined ✨

There’s something special about giving a beautiful old piece a fresh chapter. This antique dining table and chair set had gorgeous lines and so much character—it just needed a little updating to fit our customer’s vision for her dining room.

We refinished the entire set in Benjamin Moore Tarrytown Green, a rich, sophisticated green that completely transformed the look while still allowing all those beautiful vintage details to shine.

The result is the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern style. 💚 Instead of replacing a quality antique piece, our customer now has a one-of-a-kind dining set that feels fresh, elevated, and completely at home in her space.

We love transformations like this—proof that beautiful furniture doesn’t have to be new to feel new again.✨

🤎 Giving Old Furniture a New Life

There’s just something about taking a piece of solid wood furniture that someone else may have overlooked and giving it another chance.

Over the last 18 years I’ve really come to love refinishing furniture—not just because I enjoy creating something beautiful, but because I love the idea of reviving a piece with new fresh energy!

Solid wood furniture was made to last. The scratches, worn finishes, little imperfections, and even outdated styles don’t necessarily mean a piece is done. Sometimes it just needs a little patience, creativity, and someone willing to see what it could become again!

This dresser is a perfect example. ❤️
Instead of covering up what makes it unique, I wanted to bring the beautiful natural wood back to life and give it a fresh look while keeping the character that made the piece worth saving in the first place.

There’s something really rewarding about knowing that a piece of furniture that could have been counted out and called old trash can now become part of someone’s home for many more years.

I guess that’s what I love most about refinishing furniture—I’m not just changing furniture. I’m helping good pieces get another chapter with new energy. ♻️🤎

And honestly… there’s nothing quite like stepping back at the end of a project and thinking, “I’m so glad I didn’t let this one pass by without giving it an energetic boost and chance at life again.” ✨
