So, my current batch of business cards are a bust after getting scammed by qr-code-generator.com. It says "free" everywhere until you put it on your cards and 14 days later it says "your free trial expired". Nowhere does it say trial, and "Pricing" is one small link at the foot of the page.

On the other hand, here are some *actually free* QR code generators (thanks to Reddit)!

https://qrdex.io/ - Made by an individual, does not come with extra bells and whistles.

https://www.canva.com/apps/QRCode/qr-code - If you use Canva this one looks good!

https://loltek.net/qr/ - Another made by an individual based on a Github repository.

https://www.qrcodechimp.com/ - The free version includes 10 qr codes (in really cool shapes!), and 1000 scans per month.

https://myqrcodes.app/qr/url - This one includes different kinds of QR codes, like ones to send a Whatsapp message, or create a payment.

https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/ - Also allows you to do multiple different kinds of QR codes like payments and links. It also lets you download without making an account.
