Have you noticed that the walls in art museums aren’t always white? The paint colors are curated as backdrops for the art, specifically selected to complement the art and enhance the mood the art is intended to impart. You can do the same thing in your home. This dark living room gets inconsistent, weak light throughout the day. The solution included bold art, a big blue couch to anchor the space, and repainting the off-white walls (shown) with a rich, saturated paint color to enhance the decor.
