You might think it’s too early, but these ladies flew off the shelf last year, so we’re already busy creating more! 🧙‍♀️

Each one has her own personality, name, and story—and they’ll be ready for Adoption soon! 🖤

And just wait until you see her nose…👃✨ hand-whittled by Wendi herself!

🚨 Junk Journal Boo-Boo Alert! 🚨😂

We had this fun game-themed journal all put together and looking fabulous…then we touched the chalk paint on the front cover. 😩 Now we have a smudge!

In junk journal making, just about every boo-boo is fixable… but I’m not so sure about this one! 🤦‍♀️😂

So, crafty friends…what would you do? Any tricks or tips to save our cover before we make it worse? 🎲🃏♠️

With the smell of pumpkin Pop-Tarts in the air 🎃, we’re giving the box a whole new life!

Just needs its binding and this little Pop-Tart journal will be show-ready! ✨

The game is on… and this junk journal is ready to ante up! 🎲♠️♥️

Now that the foundation is built, it’s time to start gathering the little treasures that will bring this 2-signature journal to life.

We already have some goodies waiting in the wings…

🎟️ Premade tags ready for a winning hand
🃏 Playing cards for a little extra luck
🎲 Dice for some playful surprises
🟤 Poker chips that may just find their way into a pocket
🁫 Domino pieces that might become a fun spine dangle
🎀 Ribbons to add texture and movement

But we need your help…

What other little morsels should we be hunting for to complete this game night/casino-inspired ephemera stash?

The hunt is officially on! Because you never know what forgotten treasure will become the perfect addition to this “jackpot” of a journal. 💵✨

Show me the money!! 💵✨

The beginnings of a game-themed junk journal are officially underway!

This will be a 2-signature journal, which means there will be plenty of room for all the fun pages, pockets, ephemera, and surprises that make junk journals so special.

The cover material? Another treasure hunt find from Goodwill. 💛 We knew this piece needed a special project, and this journal was the perfect match.

The journal base started with something most people would toss away… a simple cracker box! 📦

Wrapped in our rescued material using Mod Podge as the glue, then finished on the inside with a coordinating yellow paper, this little “rubbish” box has officially become the foundation for something new.

Now comes the fun part… watching this journal find its personality as we assemble the pages and decide what direction it wants to take us.

We can’t wait to see where this one goes! 🎲📖

Just the beginning of a perfectly normal Rubbish Workshop Planning Week around here. 😂

We’re busy dreaming up future workshops, prepping new inventory, getting ready for upcoming shows, and creating all sorts of goodies… and apparently, that requires dressing up as a sugar glider, giraffe and owl. 🤷‍♀️🤣

♻️ One woman’s afghan… is another woman’s pothead opportunity! 👻

We’re doing a little recycling, a little unraveling, and A LOT of plotting over here at Rubbish to Uppish. 🧶✂️

This unsuspecting afghan is being unraveled and given a whole new purpose as we work on our upcoming spooky holiday Pothead Collection! 🎃💀👻

What starts as rubbish around here rarely stays rubbish for long. 😉

We’re not quite ready to reveal what’s brewing… but let’s just say these little potheads are going to be spooktacular!
