Join us for Kocktail King, a ticketed fundraiser benefiting Beds for Kids, hosted right here at Queen’s Reward Meadery in Tupelo, MS.

Local bartenders will go head to head in a high energy cocktail showdown, each competing to be crowned the Kocktail King. Your ticket includes dinner, cocktail samples from the competing bartenders, live music from The Bonfire Orchestra, and access to a silent auction filled with great items and experiences.

Come enjoy an unforgettable evening of great drinks, live entertainment, and community support for a meaningful cause.

While the world scrolls past what matters most… there’s a woman right here in our community quietly stitching something timeless.

At over 90 years old, retired TPSD educator Mrs. Ollie J. Scales is still creating, still giving, still leaving her mark.

And not just in small ways. She just wrote a book!

“Why Aprons?” isn’t just about sewing.
It’s about faith, family, memory, and purpose.

What started as a simple love for aprons turned into something deeper
A story told through:
• Poetry
• History
• Art
• And even beginner-friendly patterns so anyone can carry the tradition forward

It reminds us that the smallest things…
an apron, a stitch, a gift…
can hold a lifetime of meaning.

Tupelo’s workforce doesn’t start on the day a kid turns eighteen. It starts right now… in classrooms full of students who are hungry to learn the real stuff from the people who actually do it every day.

TPSD is inviting local businesses to an Engagement Forum built for employers who want to shape the next generation before they hit the job market. If you’ve ever said “nobody wants to work anymore,” this is your chance to help rewrite that story.
