Growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, I learned from an early age the value and purpose of providing our own meals with my parents, grandparents and many aunts and uncles. Everything always seemed to taste better when we did it ourselves. As I grew

older and continued the tradition with my children, I was constantly working to improve the process. Now, as President of CHARD, I am always searching for ways to enhance existing products as well as create new ones so that others can form similar memories and bring the process to life with their family.
