A Healthy Dose of Nature: Hiking Series

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Hiking outdoors has plenty of perks, AND its good for you mentally and physically, too! Join a naturalist and volunteers for a three to five mile vigorous hike along a different trail each month. This is a continuous hike. Please dress for the weather, wear appropriate footwear, and bring along a bottle of water. Ages ten to adult. No registration is required. Free.

Thinking about this yearās holiday greeting card? Here is a great opportunity to have a group picture taken by the Medina Photographers of the Parks. You will have your choice of backdrop either in front of the gorgeous stone fireplace, in front of a seasonal backdrop, or both. The cost for this fun memory is $35 for three images from one location or $50 for six images from two locations. A digital version of your photos will be emailed to you to print in whatever size or format you wish. Advance registration is appreciated to determine an approximate session time. Discoveries donāt happen on a set schedule, so drop by any time between 1 and 3 p.m. This series promotes unstructured exploratory activities that are perfect for any age to stay for as short or as long as the interest holds. The leavings of animals is important evidence! Guess who dung it, learn something new, and make your own discoveries. All ages are welcome. No registration is required. Free.
