❤️ THE HEART BEHIND VINTAGE RECREATIONS ❤️
Sometimes people see the furniture, the decor, and the pretty displays, but they don’t always see the heart, the hard work, and the story behind it all.
Vintage Recreations is more than a business to me. It’s a dream God has allowed me to build, and I’m so thankful for the blessings, opportunities, and people He has brought into our lives along the way.
But above all else, my husband and my children are my WHY. ❤️
Chris and I are raising our family, building a life together, and navigating a journey that hasn’t always been easy. Our boys have faced 28 surgeries between them, along with countless appointments, long days, worries, and prayers. There have been seasons when our calendar revolves around doctors, hospital visits, and recovery. There have been days when plans change in an instant, and running a business has to take a backseat to what matters most.
Through it all, God has been faithful. He has carried us through the hard days, provided for our family in ways we couldn’t have planned, and reminded us over and over that we don’t have to walk this journey alone.
This business is something I love, but it’s also a way for me to help provide for our family while having some flexibility to be there for my kids when they need me. Every piece of furniture I bring back to life, every long day at the shop, and every little step forward is part of something bigger than selling furniture.
I want our children to grow up seeing that hard work matters, dreams are worth pursuing, and even in difficult seasons, we can trust the Lord to guide our steps. I want them to know that success isn’t just measured by what we build or what we accomplish, but by the faith we hold onto, the family we love, and the way we treat others along the way.
Running a small business isn’t always easy, and some seasons are harder than others. But I’m learning that I don’t have to do everything perfectly or on my own. I just have to keep showing up, do the work God has placed in front of me, and trust Him with the rest.
