Happy Birthday to Anna!!!! In honor of her, we’d like to throw it back with a few fun facts you might not know about Anna…
1. As a little girl she was called “Nudie,” which eventually evolved into just “Nude.” Decades later, our sisters still sometimes call her that in public with absolutely no concern for context.
2. Anytime Anna is concentrating, her tongue slowly sticks straight out like a determined 5-year-old coloring inside the lines. She has no idea she’s doing it, and once you notice it, you can never unsee it.
3. During one childhood phase, Anna insisted on sleeping on a bench at the foot of our parents’ bed. One night, our dog climbed up there, gave birth on top of her, and Anna never woke up.
4. At just four years old Anna hopped on the golf cart, drove herself from the barn, across the dam, and all the way up to the house. If you ever told her she was too young to do something, you were ensuring that she would do just that.
5. Despite all the fancy restaurants she’s been to, Anna’s true love remains chicken fingers and French fries. If it’s on the kids’ menu, she’s interested.
