Well I went down to check on the bees on Monday. It was cold. A few needed some food and I have lost a few of the smaller ones. But all in all they are looking pretty good so far. Cleaned out some of the dead bees from the bottom boards to help them out.

From now until approximately August 1, 2025, it will be a little more difficult buying from the Honor System Honey Box at the end of our driveway. There is a road closure between our house and SR 64. To get to our driveway, enter from the Ferdinand end, and the road is open to our driveway.

Yet another item to put in your gift basket - these microwavable bowl cozies are the perfect way to get your bowl of steaming hot food out of the microwave and safely to the table. All are made of cotton, right down to the thread used to sew them, and are of 2 coordinating fabric. We have 3 of the black kitchen print, 4 of the postage stamp print, 4 of the oceanic print and 1 of the Route 66 print (I have no more of this fabric). All these are $9.00 each. We also have 3 of the Indiana print, (fabric licensed by IU), that are $10 each. You can also purchase these outright, without buying a honey gift basket. Note: we are currently sold out of the oceanic print cozies but I can make more if requested
