FEAST YOUR EYES ON THIS BEAUTIFUL LIVING ROOM ENTERTAINMENT CENTER !!!!

The client had been waiting for years to find the right builder that can meet and exceed her expectations, vision and delivery.

This is 100% build took a few hours of conversations to design from concepts she had been saving.

Specs:
- 11ft wide x 9ft tall
- UV grade solid plywood for lowers, Primo Black B-2 for the uppers
- The center features nickel gap paneling
- Shaker Style Double doors made with solid maple, soft close hinges
- Adjustable shelves with nickel plated shelf pins 5mm
- Paint: Sherwin Williams Gallery Series “High Tea HGSW6159”

NO WIRES!!! I created the hidden wire routing behind the TV that crossed into the cabinet. The wires can continue up through the grommet on the countertop.

The customer came to me and said we need your help!!!!!!
**Project objectives**
- Paint the walls
- Help me create storage by the windows, with dog beds.
- Restore this old 1960’s dresser, build a replica and add bookcases.

Stage one 1:
Full layer of primer using Killz 2, followed by two coats of SW Emerald Designer Series Paint : SW PPU10-13 Snowy Pine

Stage 2:
Custom design a storage area that spans the width from wall to wall. Two dog beds on each side, with storage cabinets in the middle. The storage bin slots are adjustable and can be moved. Piano hinges were used to allow the doors to stay fully open when used.

Stage 3:
- The old dresser was striped down to the bare bones and modified to accept soft-close drawers.
- The new dresser was made to match with exact dimensions including the trim and drawers. Solid Red Oak was milled to create the drawer panels and top lid. Stained with a mix of Minwax Expresso and Special Walnut.
- The shelving unit made from Primo Black solid 3/4 ply and poplar wood. This makes the whole thing stand at 7ft tall. They were painted with SW Gallery Series Secret Garden 6181.

I am truly grateful to have customers that trust me with creating and building their ideas, making them come to life.

Not every project goes according to plan or schedule. After a personal setback, the customer opted to stick with me. With the timeline not being met and frustrations building, I was finally able to get back on track and build again.

I present to you: Custom double 9ft x 5.5 ft niche’s (wine rack and floating shelves) and 7 ft Mantle. Wrapped in craftsman trim.

The sections were built in half and installed onsite.

Left-
Custom designed wine rack made from Primo Black B-2 plywood and stained maple, poplar wood faceframe
- the cross pattern and backing was made from Maple wood
- soft close drawers with Maple drawer fronts

Right-
- custom fit cabinet made of UV- grade ply
- Shaker Style Double doors with Blum soft close hinges
- These door have a perforated metal core that allow the cabinet electronics to breath (zoom in)
- Adjustable shelves with nickel plated shelf pins 5mm
- Top was a custom build box with floating shelves to accommodate the space within.

Talk about a MAJOR closet overhaul!!! The customer gave me her ideas and I brought it to life. Using quality materials really makes a difference and this closet will last the life of the home.

Custom library from floor to ceiling, complete with a 7ft ladder made to last a lifetime. The ladder rolls smooth and frictionless the entire span of the bookcase. A huge thank you to this customer for trusting me with this project!!!

Specs:
- 12 ft wide x 10ft tall (we had to move the a/c to accommodate the cabinet depth)
- Primo black B-2 solid plywood to make the carcass, Poplar wood for the faceframe
- the shelves were made of stain grade maple with 1.5” lip
- adjustable shelves with nickel plated 5 mm shelf pins
- Ladder Hardware from Rockler Woodworking
- The outlets were swapped out for black plates

Paint and stain:
- Sherwin Williams Gallery Series Urban Bronze SW7048 (sprayed with Graco Quickshot FF 210/310)

Another custom gorgeous build for a customer!!!
Before you ask, here’s the color- Sherwin Williams Indigo Batik.

This customer did not want the arches in view and needed space for his hobby - WARHAMMER FOR THE WIN. This made the build uniquee in that the lower cabinets were built with an L-frame inside. (Plus bonus adjustable shift)

The middle cabinet were custum sized to fit his records for his records. The countertop has a gromet inserted to alloww power to his counter top.

“I know someone that can do it cheaper”

Although not quite what happened, it’s pretty similar . A customer contacted me to match existing cabinets and to vent about “the previous guy”. Let me tell you, what he did was atrocious. I added pics of their work 😶‍🌫️

I was commissioned to build a kitchen cabinet to match the existing. I was able to salvage the doors from the previous cabinet was there. Once installed, trim and crown placed.

Wood- Red oak
Stain- mix of Minwax oak and English Chestnut
Seal- Minwax polyurethane

Project name "The Island" but not the movie.
I was reached out to match this inspiration picture for their kitchen. Me: No problem

The island was wrapped in shiplap and trimmed with 1x3 FJB. The corners were mitered and glued.

The project was masterfully painted by V&O Renovations
Paint - HGSW7018 Dovetail.

The customer was extremely happy and it definitely brought her kitchen to life.

These posts were rotted out, as original builders didn’t put anything to protect the post from the ground 🤬!!!!!! Can you believe the right post was just hanging from the top 😬. For extra credit shame, they didn’t even use a solid post. It was 4 2x6’s position in a square. 😑

We replaced them both with solid 6x6 posts after anchoring in a base plate. The post were then wrapped and trimmed in cedar.

They came out gorgeous and the homeowner was extremely pleased.
