Second City Salvage is offering today this old c1910 brass semi-flush mount ceiling light with a Sheffield clambroth fluted glass shade that dates to the Arts & Crafts/Craftsman era. The brass fitter retains the original patina. It measures a generous 7" dia. and will drop 7" from the ceiling once installed. Canopy is 5" dia x 3"h. Shade is 7"dia x 3"h and has a 2 ¼" fitter. Shade is in mint condition. It accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with updated wiring and a new pull chain socket, will be tested, and I'll include a modern cross bar needed for install. AC1015 Antique c1900 Cast Iron Grate 20 x 16 Cold Air Return Grate Vent MINT

Second City Salvage is offering today this cast iron grate or cold air return/vent. It was salvaged from a Minneapolis Victorian home c1900 several years ago and is in mint condition. Great geometric pattern. Overall measurement is 20 ¼”w x 16 ½”w and will fit an opening that is 14 ¼”w x 10 ¼”w. No breakage, just overall rust which is consistent with age. VBP1129 Antique c1910 Nickel Plated Brass Toilet Paper Tissue Holder Restored

Second City Salvage is offering today this nickel plated brass toilet paper or tissue holder that dates to the early 20th century. The nickel plating on this piece was almost completely flaked away so we had it replated in polished nickel and the price for this piece reflects that. It measures 6 1/2”w x 3 1/2”h and will project 3” from the wall once installed. It will accommodate a modern double roll. It is not marked, but not all manufacturers marked their pieces, so these could be J.L. Mott, Wolff, Henry Huber, LFC, Meyer Sniffen, Brasscrafters, Art Brass/San-O-La, Sternau, Good Mfg. or any of the companies that produced bathroom accessories back in the early part of the 20th century. Second City Salvage is offering today this old c1910 brass semi-flush mount ceiling light with a Sheffield milk glass shade that dates to the Arts & Crafts/Craftsman era. The brass fitter retains the original patina. It measures a generous 9" dia. and will drop 7" from the ceiling once installed. Canopy is 5 1/2" dia x 4"h. Shade is 9"dia x 3 3/4"h and has a 2 ¼" fitter. Shade is in excellent condition with only one tiny chip to the rim of the shade which is not notable, but I have to mention (last photo). It accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with updated wiring and a new socket, will be tested, and I'll include a modern cross bar needed for install. Canopy is 4 ½" dia x 3"h. Shade is 9 3/4"dia x 4"h and has a 2 ¼" fitter. Shade is in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. Second City Salvage is offering today this antique c1904 semi-flush mount light that came to me pretty much bare and painted. Once stripped, I found this great patina on the brass underneath. I paired the fitter with his old c1904 Holophane Pagoda shade that really throws out a ton of light and looks so great with an Edison bulb (shown, but not included). The shade is stamped “Pagoda” (barely legible) so is the real deal. There are no chips that I could find on the glass, but just a couple of “bubbles” that occurred during manufacture. It is in what I consider to be mint condition. A perfect light for a smaller space, especially if you are a tall person with a low ceiling! It measures a very generous 11 1/4” dia x and will drop 7” from the ceiling once installed. Add about 2 1/2” to the drop to the tip of the pull chain. The canopy is 4 1/2”dia x 3 1/2”h and has a 2 1/4” fitter and the shade itself is 11 1/4”dia x 4”h. It accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with updated wiring and a new pull chain socket, will be tested, and I’ll include a modern cross bar for install. Second City Salvage is offering today this semi-flush mount Art Deco light that dates to 1930. The fitter on this light is porcelain and original. The shade is free of any cracks, but there are a couple of small flea bite chips to the fitter which don’t really matter since they disappear once the shade is placed on the light. The shade is hand painted molded custard glass in great condition that features cute daffodils on four sides and light ribbing. Pretty much one-of-a-kind! A perfect light to hang over a sink in a kitchen in front of a window or maybe even in a bathroom. Overall measurement is 7”w and it will drop 7 1/2” from the ceiling once installed. The porcelain canopy or fitter is 5” dia x 2 1/2”h and the shade itself is 7”w x 5 1/2”h with a 2 ¼” fitter. Second City Salvage is offering today this amazing antique brass pendant that dates to c1900. All components of this light are brass and the patina is fantastic! Overall, it measures 5″w and will drop 16″ from the ceiling once installed. The original interior etched globe shade itself measures 5”dia. x 5”h and has a 3 ¼” fitter. Canopy is a generous 5” dia. x 4”h. Shade holder is marked with a patent date of Dec. 23 ’90 (that’s 1890 folks!). It accepts a standard base bulb, has been tested, will come to you with updated period correct gold cloth wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install.
