One of our favorite things about summer is how easy it is to enjoy the season's flavors. A glass of Lavender Lemonade doesn't need much to make it special.

It's refreshing on a warm afternoon, lovely to serve when friends stop by, and just as nice when you're enjoying a quiet lunch on the porch.

The recipe is simple:

Steep 3 tablespoons of dried culinary lavender in one cup of boiling water for 5-7 minutes. In an Emerson Creek Iced Tea Pitcher, pour 6 cups water, 1/2 cup honey, 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice, and the lavender water. Stir, add ice, and if you prefer, add lemon slices, lavender, or mint leaves as a garnish.
