Today I walked through how to properly mount a meeting rail on two sliding screen doors — including how to identify the correct side, line it up, secure it with self-tapping screws, and attach the J-hook latch.

A lot of people install this part backwards, so the close-up details really matter. Once everything is trimmed, aligned, and screwed in flush, both doors slide perfectly and close the center gap the way they should.
