We are pleased to announce that a new software release for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, version 1.0, is now available.

If your Wondernumber is below approximately 200, please pay special attention to page 161. There may be two backplate flashers wired in reverse, and the section starting this page explains how to verify and correct this.

For 2026 Q1 another software update is already in the works. Scheduled are for instance a Mini Playfield multiball lock mode and to be able to replay unfinished main modes.

Alice Topper Deliveries – Update from Dutch Pinball

We at Dutch Pinball fully understand that many Alice owners are still waiting for their toppers. Unfortunately, we’ve experienced repeated delays from our supplier. In addition, because the topper was never originally designed to be shipped separately from the machine, we had to develop specialized packaging to ensure safe and secure delivery.

The good news is that this new packaging is now complete, and the first toppers are finally shipping to their new owners. While the current shipping pace isn’t yet where we’d like it to be, production and deliveries have officially begun — an important milestone for us all.

Regarding the information shared by designer Melvin Williams during his Chicago seminar: his comments were based on details he received from the factory, which turned out to be somewhat too optimistic. Dutch Pinball takes full responsibility for not providing corrected timing estimates sooner. It’s important to note that a designer is not the manufacturer and can only share information that has been provided to them.

We expect topper production and shipping to continue into 2026. Our goal is for all newly produced Alice machines to include a topper by default. In fact, the vast majority of Alice machines produced over the past month have already shipped with toppers installed.

We know this process has taken much longer than anyone anticipated, and we truly appreciate your patience and support throughout. Please rest assured that everyone will receive their topper.

It’s been a little while since our last update, but we haven’t been dozing like the Dormouse—we’ve been hard at work bringing Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to life! 🐇✨

As the Cheshire Cat might say, “We’re all mad here”—and madly excited to share a few glimpses of today’s production. The White Rabbit insists we’re right on time (though we’d argue we’re fashionably late 😉).

A Milestone Moment for Dutch Pinball – DPX 🎉

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived: the very first Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland pinball machine is officially in a box! 📦✨

This marks a major milestone in the history of Dutch Pinball – DPX, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. Over the next 1–2 weeks, we expect to box up the first 20 units as production picks up speed.

Meanwhile, work on the next batch of playfields is already underway. The journey continues—and this is just the beginning.

**Impact of Recently Proposed Tariffs on the Pinball Industry**

The import tariffs proposed by President Trump last Wednesday are having far-reaching effects on global trade—and unfortunately, the pinball industry is not exempt. These impacts can be both indirect (for example, components manufactured in China and used in U.S.-produced pinball machines are now subject to an increased tariff up to 54%!) and direct, especially when it comes to pinball machines manufactured outside of the U.S.

Dutch Pinball falls into the latter category.

As a result, we’ve decided to prioritize production and shipment of *Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland* units destined for markets outside the U.S. This phase will take several months to complete. During this time, we’ll closely monitor how the situation evolves, as trade decisions of this nature are often highly volatile—appearing and disappearing with little notice.

For U.S.-based customers eager to receive their *Alice* machines sooner, we recommend contacting your distributor directly. Please be aware, however, that due to the new tariffs, you should be prepared for an, currently, estimated up to 20% price increase.
