The beautiful new bocce courts at Apple Island Resort have been popular this season. Thanks to Paul, Dominic, Gary and staff for the collaboration...Paul's wavy Italian flag concept gave us a fun base to design and create this dimensional sign from.

If you find yourself in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom town of Island Pond and in need of a sweet treat, stop by the adorable Granny's Scoops, right in the center of town.

It was a pleasure helping Paula with their sign in time for the start of their early summer opening, and they have been a very happy addition to the community. Along with hard and soft serve ice cream, find Stackers, Ice Cream Cakes and other Frozen Treats!

If you're a chicken lover, a couple more days to check out the Milton Artists' Guild's special September exhibit "Art of the Coop"!🐓

It's a blast to see the many ways the artists interpret these special creatures, including Caroline Manley's (shown here at the opening reception) wonderful photographs of her own flock in action.

We included 2 pieces in the exhibit: a Farm Fresh Eggs sign made on an antique apple crate panel from Hackett's Orchard, as well as the photograph "Patience", of our former hen Miss Pickles as she sat in her nesting box awaiting that next perfect egg. Enjoy! 🐔

The 104th annual Champlain Valley Fair is in full swing!

If you go, after you eat some awesome Fair food, be sure to check out the Crafts building, with a great range of handmade items for everyone. We're in there again this year with a selection of over 140 handpainted wood signs in a variety of sizes and styles.

Messing about with typography is always fun over here. Thank you to Glenn in Reno for requesting that his vintage-style sign emulate the typestyle of the 1932 Caterpillar logo. An enjoyable exercise. 😎

Last winter, we made this sign for Bella as a gift for her parents. Handpainted in OneShot ivory and metallic gold on black, repurposing an antique bell shutter. The upper bell section will also have a future life, likely as a vintage-style patriotic "liberty"-themed sign in the near future.
