Take note we don’t have typical shop our as our shop is run out of our lovely home. So please call ahead.
In 2011 I met a "Beautiful" (my pet name for her) and amazing woman (Michelle), and whom I was completely smitten with from the start, we fell in love and things were going well. We have a beautiful daughter, nice home, both of us working...you know...the American dream. When I met Michelle she was working in the Mortgage Industry, which to this date is such a huge passion of hers. Michelle knows more about the Mortgage and Real estate Business than anyone I have ever met. Should you want to know anything just ask her, trust me on this. That being said, our story continues;
October 2015 Michelle was diagnosed with Diabetes...ok this we can handle. Michelle was doing great, she went at it head on as she does with every challenge, her diabetes was very well managed and under control, all was going great.
Spring of 2016 diagnosed with HPV strain 16 and 18. This was scary because these strains can lead to cervical cancer which if aggressive can migrate to other parts. Michelle underwent a procedure to have abnormal tissue removed. To date things are looking good with this but requires monitoring. Also that spring they found a lump in one of her breasts...another scare. Thankfully the biopsy showed that it was a benign will monitor.
Mid year 2016 Michelle started having more medical issues. Dizziness,headaches, blackouts, fatigue. After a whirlwind of doctors appointments and missed work (Michelle left her job). Michelle always says and it's kind of her standing quip about life "I'm the lucky dog". In
December 2016 Michelle and I were told by her neurologist that the diagnosis was MS. Could life throw anything else at her, really?
An incurable neuro-muscular disease which makes life very difficult for her. Most days she has trouble even moving about the house. The disease causes varying degrees of pain, spasms, headaches, nephropathy and memory issues. It has also caused thinning of the optic nerve and other vision problems. All this makes it very hard for Michelle to perform even what use to be the simplest of tasks. Thankfully we are surrounded by her Mother, Aunt and Uncle and Friends. All this being said Michelle has handled all of this that has been thrown at her with incredible strength and grace. She is by far the strongest person I know.
MS Creation Shop
Michelle has always had a knack for crafting, befriending people and trying to make people feel good. And I share the interest in being creative. You see Michelle has such a huge heart and a need to care for others and a even bigger need to have a purpose! Without working and not being able to care for others and no purpose, My Love was losing her way, I had I to think of a way to give her back a purpose. So that's where the idea came from, I'll start a business dedicated to my love. The "MS" is duplicitous it stands for Michelle Shaw (my loves name) and Multiple Sclerosis (the disease that inflicts her), "Creation Shop" for the love of creating joy through the things we build. Michelle holds a very limited roll due to here medical issues but she is the Face of the business. You will see her in our videos and posts, she's more personable than I am. I failed to introduce myself, my name is Shaun Wroble and I am the man that does the intense work and heavy lifting so to speak, I'm not the video guy (however you may see me from time to time in a video or pics should you visit our social media pages, lol)
A Blessing in Disguise
Yes, that's how MS Creation Shop was created. In 2016, my life was on a high note and things couldn't be better. I was engaged to the man of my dreams, our family was happy and my career was on the rise. I dismissed the headaches, clumsiness and spasms as being tired and overworked...little did I know my life would quickly change with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. I can't begin to tell you how much has changed over the past two years! Since I'm no longer able to work, I have much more time with family and have rediscovered my passion for crafting for a purpose.
A Message From Michelle
I never imagined my life taking this path, but I knew there had to be more for me and this was the perfect time to reignite my artistic side.Throughout the years I've created wreaths and home decor items for gifts and have always been told that I should be in the business of crafting. At the time, I was a single mother working full time and just trying to keep my head above water...there was no time for a side business! Yes, I am excited and happy to share my stories and my joy of crafting, home decor and my gift of gab with you. MS Creation Shop offer a one-of-a-kind decor piece that I make is a custom design from my heart.
Keep Bowing Bowers :-)
