The new dining table project is coming along pretty well this week... Second of many coats of honey pine stain applied to the top tonight, and the base is already painted and distressed charcoal over red... A couple more coats of stain and this project will be complete!!

New 60”L pine dining table in the works today... Next step is sand and stain the top, and then paint/distress the base.....

Handmade 2” thick reclaimed oak barn board top finished in honey pine. Chunky 5”x5” farmhouse style table legs in black over red distressed finish. This table is the real deal and it is heavy! Original cost was over $2,000 a year ago, asking $1,500. Lititz pick up. Message with any questions.

It’s been a while since I’ve worked on any projects, but just completed refinishing 4 barstools for a customer... The bases were loose and mismatched colors so all were glued then painted black, and then scratches sanded out of the seats before 3 coats of stain went on to finish them off... Like new again!!

Custom frames are becoming a regular thing lately! This one is reclaimed oak barn wood like the last couple frames, but it was then trimmed with more oak and painted charcoal gray over coastal blue... I put my own artwork in the frame for these photos, but the customer’s artwork will go perfect with these frame colors!

Here’s another reclaimed oak barn wood frame I built a few weeks ago, just couldn’t share till now because it was a Christmas gift the customer was giving to someone... Looks great with this photo of a bridge over the Susquehanna! I love building these frames since each one has its own unique character!

This project was a challenge but I got it done! A customer brought me their light pecan dining table with severely mismatched leaves, and asked me to refinish the entire table to an antique walnut finish... After sanding the first coat of stain didn’t take, so had to go back to heavy sanding to get it just right!

New Project: Fireplace Surround & Mantel

Here’s a new project I’ve been working on the last few weeks... Started with basically a blank canvas, as the original mantel was plain and boring... New 9’H x 6’6”W fireplace surround built from pine and will be finished painted white... The mantel is a 10”x3”x70” reclaimed oak barn beam that was sanded and finished with a simple clear coat for protection...

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the finished product!!
