**A majority of our products are hand created from reclaimed barn wood and lumber from old tobacco curing barns in North Carolina. Tobacco leaves were once hung from these sticks to dry and cure. We especially love this type of wood due to its natural weathering! Each piece of our barn wood is special, bearing the scars of its time.
**Using reclaimed wood supports the environment. This wood was not grow on farms, which often cultivate only trees that grow fast. It does represents trees that have been cut down, but it's getting another life and being recycled within your home.
**Reclaimed wood has age and character to it. Each piece most likely grew in its natural environment, fighting for nutrients and sun, which leaves the wood extremely durable and strong. From the original marks of the saw, stains of rusty nails and battle scars of construction and deconstruction, it tells a story like no other. Not one piece can be mimicked.
