An empty closet nook? Oh, absolutely NOT.

The second I saw photos of my daughter Sloane’s new house, I knew this bathroom needed some COLOR and personality. So we turned a boring little closet nook into custom arched built-ins with the most unapologetically gorgeous raspberry pink cabinets.

We used stock cabinets, a little DIY ingenuity, some wood scraps, a jigsaw, and a whole lot of “how hard can it be?” energy. Finished it off with lemon peel-and-stick wallpaper, and suddenly this little corner has MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY.

The details:
- Sherwin-Williams Framboise paint
- Lemon peel-and-stick wallpaper from Lowe’s
- Natural wood shelving, cut to size and stained
- Stock cabinets, custom-fit with wood spacers - A DIY arched surround made from fiberboard

The best part? You don’t need custom cabinetry or a massive budget to make a space feel completely custom. You just need a vision, a few tools, and the willingness to figure it out as you go.

Why I refuse to stop DIYing even in my swimsuit: ADHD DIY rule: if you’re in the groove, you don’t change out of your swimsuit to mix grout. Months of delays, poured concrete, and waiting on the Florida weather all came down to this one super satisfying step. What do you think of how the tile is turning out?

What began as a simple score quickly turned into a full DIY outdoor kitchen build! Before I could even start on the bar, I took things a step further and cast my own custom outdoor breezeway breeze blocks from scratch. From there, I framed out the structure, applied the crisp white stucco finish, and topped it off with a soft baby blue clearance tile from Lowe's Home Improvement to create the ultimate coastal backyard setup.

If you love ambitious DIYs, coastal patio transformations, or just finding an excuse to build something after scoring free materials, this project is for you!

Styling my ultimate whimsigoth thrift score! Two people literally tried to take this candelabra out of my cart at the thrift store, so you know I had to style it right away!

With crazy Florida storms outside, I stayed inside to light candles and style our dining table with recent thrifted, gifted, and Marketplace finds. From the crystal chandelier to the flower-filled skull, here’s how this moody, whimsigoth setup came together.

Of course I had to have this Ibex sculpture. We played tag over Facebook marketplace for about three weeks and then they dropped it off at my shop today and surprise me.
